Tips on how to keep your flowers fresh and lasting in this heat. 🌸🌿🌼

1) Cut the stems on a diagonal by cutting an inch off. This should be done every day if not every other day.
2) Clean your vase with bleach, and put in fresh clean water again this should be repeated every day or every other day. You don't have to to clean the vase every day just change the water every day.
3) You don't need flower food for your flowers to survive. Most flowers don't agree with flower food. And most florist don't use flower food just condition their flowers very well.
4) If there is any leafs touching the water in the vase remove them. They are creating bacteria and going to shortened the life of your flowers. So make sure the leafs are above the water line.
5) Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight! Put your flowers in a nice shady spot in a very cool spot. Draw your curtains/blinds to keep out the heat/sunlight.
6) Keep your flowers away from the kitchen and any other smells. In this heat smells travel more and get worse flowers don't belong in a kitchen due to the toxic gasses from fruits and vegs...so keep them where no smells are around.
7) Some flowers fade sooner than other and die sooner than others, remove them as they are creating bacteria in your vase and leave the other to keep bursting with life.
8) If you are really struggling to keep them cool put a couple of ice cubes in the vase not to many as it will freeze the stems, but just a few to keep the water and the flowers cool and you can always get a spray bottle fill with cold water and and give the flowers and couple of sprays over.
9) Always ask your florist for advice they are the experts and have been trained if you need any help! 💐

Gorgeous country wedding this weekend🌿 only had time to take pictures of the wellingtons and the brides bouquet, we also had pew ends, bridesmaid and buttonholes. Blue theme with cornflower and scabious giving it the Country look. With trading gyp and thistle, with mixed foliage. This was truly beautiful and wild 🌾 The Country Garden Flower Co 💜
