Don’t forget to talk with your photographers about what they need for your details. Typical items to bring are: your save the date, your invitation suite, rings (obviously don’t for get those 🤪), bridal jewelry, groom’s watch, cufflinks, perfume and cologne. ⠀

The 2019 season at home is officially over and we just have one more game...our 2019 bowl game in December! This year living in this college town was so fun and challenging!

I met so many great friends and experienced so many new things! I have now experienced the full force of this football life first hand.

I can’t wait to grow my career as a as we continue this crazy football life...wherever that may take us!

I have been traveling a lot this year and I love it because it gives you time to think and really enjoy the little beauties of life. ⠀

This time in my life is always a little crazy because football season hiring & firing happens between now and February and our lives could completely change in a day, or a week, or a month. So, for now I’m trying to focus on each day and enjoy the view from my window instead of looking forward to the future. ⠀

Sweetheart table or head table?!⠀

I feel like I am constantly asked this by brides/grooms. They want to know if it’s better to be separate from their friends & family, or if they should be included at a table all together.⠀
⠀
Personally, I always love the sweetheart table. Your wedding becomes so much about socializing and mingling with all of your guests sometimes you don’t even get a second with your sweetheart. One of my main goals when planning your wedding is to increase the sweet moments that you get with just the two of you. I think this table definitely provides this separation, even if just for a little bit of time. BUT, I do love a good head table. The only difficulty with a head table is it can be difficult when you have lots of bridesmaids + groomsmen and their dates. ⠀

So, let your wedding planner (hopefully me🤪) help you with what style would be best for you two as a couple! ⠀

HAPPY FRIDAY, friends! We made it to the weekend! ⠀

This is my first weekend without an event in 6 weeks and while in the midst of all the event craziness and travel I couldn’t wait for this weekend to come and now that it’s here, I’m kind of sad I’m not working 😂 isn’t it funny how that works? I have such a problem sitting still and just being present in the moment especially if it’s doing nothing....anyone else?! ⠀

This will also be my first weekend not at an away football game for WSU and I’m kind of sad, but trying to look at the positives...like I get some much needed girl time and relaxation + cleaning the house which is SO needed.⠀

Today, I want to talk about invitation call time versus actual ceremony time. Most people pick their ceremony time for their invitations without thinking about the additional buffer they need to add in. Why do you need a buffer?! So that you can stay on schedule with the rest of your wedding day. Most people are late to weddings. You don’t want to miss out on having some of your best friends, closest family members or even a majority of your attendees missing from this special moment.⠀
•⠀
We recommend setting your call time 30 min prior to when you would like to start, or if you have some very timely guests, plan on starting 15min after that call time that you send out on your invites! ⠀
•⠀
Note: there is an exception! If you are providing transportation for your attendees, you are usually able to start at your exact call time. As long as you arrange for the final bus to arrive at least 5min prior to that call time. Weddings are all about timing. The more precise, the more party time you will have at the reception💃🏼🥳 ⠀
