HOLEY MOLEY, WHAT A DAY!

My wife, .big.riz, and I worked together to create our dream wedding (Liz honestly made it all happen), and it was an absolute blast!

It was an interesting experience being on the other side of the camera 😅

We enjoyed breaking traditions and assembling the most amazing team of fellow industry professionals to help us throw an epic party!

Just over a month ago, I quit my full-time position in the Navy to film weddings for a living. I always harp on about it, but the experience of being able to hang out with couples who are so happy and so in love is truly amazing.

I love capturing that love and happiness, and creating a film that's so personal and unique - bringing couples straight back to the same emotions and feelings that they felt on their wedding day. It's such an emotionally fulfilling experience.

Running my own business has been a huge challenge, with plenty of ups and downs along the way, but I'm incredibly excited for the future and I can't wait to create more amazing wedding films for my beautiful couples ❤

My partner and I are also planning to get married in 2023 so maybe me being a wedding vendor has just been one giant scouting operation? 👀

Noooo, I love what I do and I can't wait to continue doing what I love 🥰

✨️ONLY SPEND AN HOUR FOR PHOTO & VIDEO?✨️ If your goal is to spend more time with your guests, but still want those quintessential memories captured, then halving your time on photos or video but focusing on efficient use of that time will be the answer! . With my own wedding coming up, my partner and I have assembled an amazing team but pointed out that our focus is being with our guests and having a wicked time! We're not leaving the venue and we're not doing anything crazy (apart from having our dogs visit us post-ceremony 😍). . Even as a wedding videographer, I've learnt that you don't need hours and hours to capture amazing moments! (Earlier in my career I wouldn't have agreed though 😅) but it all depends on what your vision is for the day! . This obviously isn't a one size fits all method. You may have a spot away from the venue that you've always dreamed of getting photos and videos at, and that's totally cool! . If this is a concern then definitely chat with your vendors about how efficiently they can tick off capturing the big moments, because again, the day goes so quickly and you don't want to be all "photo'd out" and annoyed because you haven't got to spend any time with your loved ones. .
