For all the brides who are getting married this weekend:
I know seeing all the snow can be worrying or even a little scary. You’re probably thinking “How am I going to take pictures outside” and I’m here to tell you: EMBRACE IT! Speaking from VERY personal experience (I.e. my wedding photos above) as I got married in the middle of the lovely Texas snow storm of 2022 🫠

It may seem scary now, but I can honestly say I ended up having some of my absolute FAVORITE photos ever with my husband and I traipsing through the snow! Your day will still be magical and beautiful! 🤍

Day 14 and our last day of our 2024 recap!

We are so immensely grateful for all of the couples and families that we have gotten to service this year! It truly was our best year yet!

Wanted to end with a bang, so this one is all about sendoff! 2024 was the year of bubbles! With bubble machines, you really can never go wrong, but we definitely still saw our fair share of sparklers, glow sticks, etc.!

Happy New Year’s Eve loves! Be safe tonight, and see yall next year 💃🎉🥳

Day 13 of our 2024 recap! I can’t believe after today we only have 1 post left 🥺 Feeling so grateful for our busiest and best year yet!

If you know me, you know I LOVE flowers. Choosing the photos for our floral recap was the hardest of them all! We saw so many beautiful flowers this year!

Most popular was either full neutrals or LOTS of color! Special shoutout to all the blue and pink flowers we saw this year! It was the YEAR of blue accents!

Favorite flowers of the year were: Chamomile, burgundy scabiosa, and the White O Hara Rose 🤍

Private Last Dances are (in my opinion) one of the sweetest parts of the entire day! It’s the couples victory lap if you will. And in 2024 about 99% of our couples did one! I cannot encourage it enough!

Most popular song this year was All Yourn by Tyler Childers, with an honorable mention to Tennessee Whiskey and Lover ❤️

This one is all about Getaway cars!

While I don’t see fancy getaway cars often anymore, 2024 still had a fair share of cute getaway car pictures! From vintage cars to town cars, the photos are always so stinking cute 😍

Day 10 of our 2024 recap!

Today is dedicated to all those unique ideas or concepts that made your wedding day extra unique or special!

I love love love when a couple finds some way to bring their personality into the day, or even a small sentimental something to make it special!

From having fun vendor like or customizing your jacket, napkins, etc. We especially love the personal touches to a lounge set for a photo op for your guests! The possibilities really are endless 😍

Day 9 of our 2024 recap!

2024 definitely saw way more reception dresses than any of our previous years, and we LOVED IT 🙌🏻

If you want to be able to dance freely and not worry about a heavy or tight dress, feet hurting, getting your gown dirty, etc then having a reception dress is the move!

2024 was the year of white mini dresses and sneakers, and we can’t wait to see what party fits 2025 has in store 😍

Day 8 of our 2024 recap! This one is all about the ✨details ✨

This year was all about those little details that make your day so special! 😍

Why spend so much time designing your invitations, picking out your flowers and jewelry to not show it off? Flat lays + details shots may seem simple or unnecessary but you never want to miss the opportunity to capture a great photo of your detail items!

2024 I saw so many couples really embrace these by bringing cute props like ribbon, jewelry boxes, ring boxes, petals etc! And do not forget to ask your florist for detail flowers!

It was also the year of late night flat lays! Including party props, cake, etc and we loved them! 😍

Day 7 of our 2024 recap! This one is for the partiers out there!
One of the most common phrases I am told at planning meetings is “I just want it to be such a fun party” and the best way to enhance the dance floor is with party props and accessories!

From dance floors, and glow sticks to cowboy hats and marquee letters! We especially loved the custom party hats with the couple’s initials on them 😍

All of these elements equals an unforgettable party, and 2024 has some AMAZING parties 🥳

Day 6 of out 2024 recap! Today is all about that perfect aisle photo! Whether it’s a dip, spin, or a simple kiss, that mid aisle moment is one you don’t want to forget!

We definitely saw mostly dips this year, but even a simple lean in and kiss can be so so sweet!

Speaking from experience, whatever you choose, remember to practice it in advance 😉

Day 5 of our 2024 recap! Today’s recap is ✨tablescape ✨

This was the year of either all neutral or a LOT of color!

Having a beautiful table really does all come down to the details! You always want to find something on the table that’s unique or special. It can be a fun napkin, name card, charger, florals, etc. But finding a way to make it unique or add dimension will always pay off in your photos!

Day 4 of our 2024 recap! Today is dedicated to fun snacks + treats for guests at the wedding! My personal favorite will always be coffee (iykyk) and specifically ❤️

We saw everything from pre-ceremony coffee, to late night pizza, donuts, ice cream and beyond 😍

Day 3 of our 2024 recap!

This one is all about guest books, or rather alternatives to a traditional guest book! The biggest hit this year was definitely the Audio guest book! Such a unique and fun way to capture the voices of your loved ones as they wish you congratulations and best wishes ❤️

Some of my other favorites included the anniversary wine bottles, bibles, Polaroids, and any kind of game! Playing cards have been a big hit this fall!

Day 2 of 2024 recap! Let’s talk First Dance 💃

2024 has been the YEAR of choreographed first dances. The vast majority of our couples this year decided to plan out and choreograph their first dance, whether they went to classes or made it up themselves. It was definitely a big hit this year!

Looking back at all the songs choices as well, there was definitely a big variety, but specifically a lot of Leon Bridges, Taylor Swift, and Chris Stapleton ❤️
