Dear Friends,
When you get your stimulus checks, and any government support in the coming weeks/months. And as we start to get back out into society again moving forward, I beg you to think before you spend.
To truly help the economy, and to truly simulate, rather than dumping piles of cash into the laps of Walmart, Amazon, Home Depot, Mega-Chain Grocers, and Chain Restaurants, etc etc; go to mom and pop stores. Hit the little hardware store if you're working on a project. Go to the tiny, family grocer or the butcher shop/deli. Hit local restaurants or get take out the place down the street. Bypass the convenience of PRIME delivery, or Walmarts free 2 day shipping, and instead order what you need from a smaller website, even if it might take a day or two longer.
I'm not saying these big businesses are evil, don't take this out of context. In fact, now, we need them more than ever, they are giving jobs when others are out of work, they are supplying us when other businesses have closed.
I'm merely saying, those big companies will be fine, but the life blood of America and the thing that creates FREE MARKET more than anything, is small independent businesses. They will need us more than ever.
Support them. This is my plea.
