Are you newly engaged and just starting out on your wedding planning journey? Firstly, huge congratulations, I bet you have a lovely engagement story to share.

Secondly, a few quick tips for getting started:
♡ think about how you want to feel on your big day - keep that feeling in mind as you look at venue options
♡ do a quick calculation on your basic guest list to get a starting number (♡don't forget to include yourselves♡), this will help narrow your options down
♡ decide on your top 5 venue priorities - is it the backdrop or the food, or location over package

Then get onto sites like to get an idea of what's available in the area. You'll find us on there and a whole bunch of lovely pictures, reviews and testimonials from our previous gorgeous couples.

And then get in touch to book a venue tour, which really is the best way to get a feel for your big day.

Two weeks today the doors will open for our Spring Wedding Open Day - Sunday 2nd March 11am to 3pm.
Pop along any time to meet us, talk to our suppliers, have a wander around the grounds; this is your chance to really get an idea of how you might feel on your wedding day.

No entry fee. Free parking. Lots of fabulous open day offers to be found.

Our Spring Wedding Open Day plans are coming together. We hope to see as many of you as possible on Sunday 2nd March 2025. Entry and parking is free, with doors opening at 11am and close at 3pm.

There will be special spring open day offers and some fabulous suppliers to talk to.
And of course, we will be on hand to answer your questions about hosting your special day here at Eversholt Hall near Woburn.
And feel free to bring your entourage and spread the news.

Four weeks today! Get the date in your diary. Invite other couples you know. Share the news far and wide. Eversholt Halls Spring Open Day on Sunday 2nd March. Doors 11am to 3pm. Free entry. Free parking. Lots of lovely suppliers to meet. And you can chat with us about your wedding ideas and find out what dates are still available in 2025 and 2026.

Picture yourself on your wedding day standing on this balcony looking down on the smiling faces of your friends and families.

We unexpectedly have availability on Saturday 23rd August 2025 - Bank Holiday weekend!

Hire the hall for your ceremony, through to evening reception with our in-house DJ, for 50 people for just £8980.
Includes:
Ceremony
Post ceremony drinks
3 course Wedding breakfast with table wine
Toasting drinks
Post meal tea/coffee
Evening food - buffet or BBQ
DJ 7pm to midnight
And set up day!

You can also choose from our selection of cake stands, use our easels for your signage, on top of getting our expert support staff, in-house tables and chairs, white linen throughout, and our fully stocked and staffed bar.

Additional guests can be added either daytime or evening for an additional cost, or extras like a cupcake tower from our in-house catering team

It's rare for us to have this date available and we'd love to fill it with a beautiful wedding so please get in touch ASAP if you want to claim this fantastic date.

There's a rumour going around that we have a Spring Wedding Open Day coming up. Well the rumours are true.
Join us on Sunday 2nd March from 11am to see the hall dressed to impress and meet some of our wonderful suppliers. To add your name to the guest list DM us the phrase 'I'm coming'.

Gorgeous intimate special Lego themed day for the fabulous Hilary and Cathal on Saturday. Lots of hand made bunting with each guests name sewn on. The Lego heart table decorations with pots of bricks for guests to make their own objects, the LOVE Lego decoration and especially the Lego cake, made a DIY wedding to be proud of.

The yummy food as always created by went down a storm - selection of canapes, arancini and croquettes fir starters, then handmade chicken & leek pies or veggie lasagne, finished off with sticky toffee pudding or raspberry & white chocolate cheesecake 😋

We can't wait to see some superb pictures from especially as the weather couldn't have been more perfect.

We've had some very exciting enquiries coming in. Congratulations to everyone who got engaged over Christmas.

We still have some key dates available this year from March to October, but Saturdays especially are filling up, so if you're hoping for a 2025 wedding, get in quick. Message via links in bio.

We've seen some wonderful cakes at the hall this year. Some from regular suppliers like and some made/supplied by friends and family. Every single one of them is unique.

Some couples choose to make use of one of our cake stands and knifes, sometimes couples supply their own or use their bakers' wonderful stands.

We don't charge extra for use of our cake stands or knives. We also don't charge a fee for cutting up your cake to serve to guests. We don't believe in hidden fees. We do have lots of extras you can choose from, like canapes and extra drinks, or using our in-house DJ, but these are optional.
So, if you want a full clear quote for your big day, get in touch.

Can't quite believe we've made it to the last week before Christmas closure. The office will be open as normal most of this week for any final catch ups before the New Year. So, get in quick if there's something you need.

Christmas Hours:
Monday 23rd December 10am to 4pm
Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th Closed
Friday 27th 2pm to 4pm check in only.
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th Closed
Monday 30th 10am to 4pm
Tuesday 31st and Wednesday 1st Closed
Thursday 2nd 10am to 4pm
Friday 3rd 10am to 4pm.

We will answer enquiries as quickly as possible during the festive period and normal office hours will resume from Monday 6th January.

There's still time to book an early Spring wedding date. We have Saturdays available in March and April at the moment, and 12 weeks is a perfectly doable timeline.

Hands up. Who can say this is their last Christmas as an engaged couple?
You'll soon be saying 'we're getting married this year' possibly a bit sooner than you'd like? But there's still time to get ahead on the planning, so don't worry about getting things sorted. Our office hours continue right up to Christmas Eve and we have some really great dates remaining, so it's never too late to get in touch for your 2025 wedding.

As we edge towards the end of the year, and start to think about our 2025 weddings, we will soon be planning our couples tasting appointments, so I thought it worth answering a few of the frequently asked questions about them.
1) When do they happen? Early in the year of your wedding
2) Can anyone book one? We do have to limit who can have appointments and focus mainly on those couples with a full Signature Package booking with us.
3) Is there a fee for a tasting? Yes, we do charge a fee up front. However, this could be deducted from your final bill If you stick with the full Signature Package as your wedding breakfast
4) What can we try? We will ask you to choose 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts, and recommend going with the options you'll be giving your guests. You could choose to add canapes if you wish, but this would be at an additional charge.
5) Will we be sharing our appointment with other couples? No, at the moment, we offer private tastings so we can spend time with you discussing your choices and potential tweaks for dietary arrangements.

We're back to business as normal. Emails have been answered - please check your junk/spam folder if you're expecting a response you haven't yet received.

We're also underway with our bar refurb! As the work gets going we'll be keeping an eye on the mess to make sure that venue viewings can still go ahead. That said, we have slots available this Sunday so if you're interested in getting ahead on the wedding planning, get in touch to book a date.
