Miss Lisa is very excited for this week's Story Time at Scoops Ice Cream & Candy on Tues 9/10
and Wed 9/11 beginning at 10:30am.

Both days are exactly the same, so parents are able to choose which day works best for their schedule! 😊

Our theme is "Blowing Leaves!" We'll listen to the story "When The Leaf Blew In," dance around like falling leaves and make a silly gnome leaf magnet. But that's not all! Miss Lisa has her parachute ready for the kiddos to make some leaves blow around! Hope you'll be able to join in the Fall fun!🍂😊🍁

We had an amazing morning at Library Terrace Assisted Living! The kiddos and our resident friends had fun listening to the story "The Helpful Hedgehog." We used tambourines while we danced around to a goofy hedgehog song and made a cute hedgehog craft.
Mr. Tyler surprised us with a basket full of beanie babies! Each child picked out their favorite to bring home. Thank you so much!
It's so special to visit our resident friends at Library Terrace Assisted Living and Kenosha Senior Living. The kids truly brighten their day, week and month!
Remember that you and your littles are welcome and encouraged to stop by to say hello at both places. Just call ahead and let them know you'll be coming.

We'll be making some VERY special people smile at this week's Story Time! We will be at Library Terrace Assisted Living WEDNESDAY 9/4 BEGINNING AT 10:30AM.

Our theme will be "Hedgehogs!"🦔
Miss Lisa will read a story about a very helpful hedgehog. We have a new kind of instrument for our hedgehog song and we'll make a super cute hedgehog craft. Hope you'll be able to join in the fun!

We are so excited for the month of September as we head back to our regular monthly schedule! Get ready for some fun Fall Themed stories, music, instruments, dancing and some amazing crafts! All Story Times begin at 10:30am.

The first week of each month we will be at 2 different assisted living homes on 2 different days with 2 different themes! It's a great opportunity to connect with our resident friends ☺️

The rest of each month we have Story Time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at local businesses, with the same theme on both days.

Today could not have been a better day for our Watermelon Theme! We were nice and cool inside at Kenosha Senior Living this morning as Miss Lisa read the hilarious story "Watermelon Seeds!" We did the motions to our song "Yummy Watermelon" and made an ant carrying a watermelon craft! A special shout out to Miss Holly from Kenosha Senior Living for providing us with a watermelon snack!

**Next week Miss Lisa will be at Library Terrace Assisted Living

What an awesome morning we had at Lake Andrea! The weather was perfect, our story was hilarious, our dancing was super fun and our craft was a hit! Everyone also had their picture taken "on the bus"🙃
Miss Lanna brought a special surprise this morning...a suitcase (literally!) full of books for the kiddos! Thank you miss Lanna!

Next week we will be at Kenosha Senior Living on Monday 8/26 at 10:30am. Our theme will be "Watermelons!"🍉 Stay tuned for more info!

In a couple of weeks the big kids will start the new school year, some kiddos will be starting school for the first time and our little ones will be "playing school."

Miss Lisa thinks that's a great reason to celebrate with an extra Story Time on Wednesday 8/21 beginning at 10:30am!

We were walking on the moon this morning and having a blast! Miss Lisa read a silly story about a penguin that went to the moon! We danced around and pretended we were astronauts too. We made a cute stars, moon and rocketship craft that said "Love You To The Moon And Back!"

We certainly had a SHARK-TASTIC morning today! Miss Lisa was surrounded by friendly sharks who enjoyed listening to a story and dancing to "We're Going On A Shark Hunt" and of course "Baby Shark!" We also made a shark mask and given a shark bracelet to take home! Make sure to scroll through to see if you recognize any of our fierce, but friendly sharks!😎🦈🌞

We had a morning filled with the Olympic Spirit! We laughed during our story when "Boomer The Pig" tried to be an Olympic athlete. Our craft was an Olympic Torch that we carried while we marched around wearing our gold medals. We had LOTS of games to choose from during our ANIMALYMPICS...
Bug Golf, Alligator Ring Toss, Snake Maze, Kangaroo Hop, Turtle Pond Hop, Caterpillar Crawl and more!
