Miss Lisa has been taking it easy since her surgery on Christmas Eve, however, even though we will not have Story Time during the month of January, there are many great locally owned businesses for you and your littles to visit!

*Remember that our friends at Kenosha Senior Living and Library Terrace Assisted Living would LOVE to see your smiling faces!
*If your little ones are getting the "zoomies" spend some time at Wiggle & Play and Playspace Party & Play Center to run off some steam.
*There are always great adventures to explore at Kenosha Public Museum and Kenosha Public Library.

2024 has been quite a year for The Traveling Trunk! We've had SO many friends join us, new places we've visited for Special Story Times and our own little Baby Boom! Some kiddos have moved onto school but their new little brothers and sisters are keeping Miss Lisa in business!😂
Thank you to Kenosha Senior Living, Library Terrace Assisted Living, Scoops Ice Cream & Candy, The Buzz and East View Coffee Company for being a part of our monthly Story Time schedule.

We had such a fun morning at Millie Bo Peep today! We were all snuggled in our jammies and listened to the story "If You Take A Mouse To The Movies," we jingled and jangled to the song "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" and made a super cool movie popcorn craft!🍿❄️🧑‍🎄⛄🎄

We always have such a fun time at Scoops Ice Cream & Candy and today did not disappoint!
We listened to the story "The Gingerbread Man," we danced, and we made a gingerbread house but we still couldn't catch that silly Gingerbread Man!😂

Today's wind may have been chilly but our hearts were warmed at Story Time this morning at Library Terrace Assisted Living!

Our little ones and resident friends listened to Mrs Claus read the story "Llama Llama Holiday Drama." We put our antlers and hooves in and shook them all about as we did the "Reindeer Pokey" and finished the morning making a reindeer door hanger. Lots of smiles and warm hearts today!🥰🎄❤️

Could you hear jingle bells this morning? It was our little friends from The Traveling Trunk and our resident friends from Kenosha Senior Living!
We listened to the story "The Littlest Elf." We used jingle bells and rhythm sticks and danced to the song "Jingle Bell Rock!" Both the kiddos and our resident friends worked together to make a cute elf craft too.
Smiles were all around today... what a great way to kick off the holidays!🎄❄️⛄

But the fun doesn't stop there! Miss Lisa will be at Library Terrace Assisted Living ON WED 12/4 at 10:30AM ONLY.
