A huge thank you to the new Mr and Mrs Schaufler for inviting me to do their flowers and being part of an absolutely epic day! Victoria and Ben had a very clear vision of a traditional, church wedding mixed with colourful, festival vibes. Victoria had studied art at college so has a good eye for things visually as well as being creative and has spent months gathering glassware, ribbons and hand making decorations including the stunning ceiling drapes at the reception. The whole day certainly had the wow factor! It was my pleasure to design flowers for the whole event.

Very busy weekend! I began creating pieces on Thursday for the wedding of Sophie and Tom on the 22nd June. 2 days of designing was followed by a 5 hour installation at Birtsmorton Court in Worcestershire, one of the most beautiful venues with the loveliest staff. Thank you Mr and Mrs Brice for choosing me to do your wedding flowers, it was an absolute delight - Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing the "proper" photographs. Massive thanks to James for helping me on Saturday, sometimes you need more than one pair of hands and eyes!

Very special request this week - A fruit machine for a gentleman that loved playing the slots. It's a long process designing a bespoke piece - you have to think about the end product and how you can achieve it. I design it in my head or on paper and work out what I will need to create it. The end product will usually take many hours of construction. Sometimes days if paint layers have to be allowed to dry between colours - all while using a fresh product that continues to bloom or begin to degrade while you are using it!

Lovely feedback from the family for this nearly 6ft coffin spray yesterday. They were very pleased and said that the flowers were perfect. We always use flowers as an expression of love and these flowers were shared out amongst those that gathered to pay their respects after the service. The love was shared ❤️ what a fitting tribute x
