And finally, we would like to say a massive thank you to North Carrick Community Benefit who covered almost all of the costs for Bruce Festival. Thanks also to CEiS who channelled Scottish Government funds to NCCBC to support the engagement of young people in the event. And lastly, thank you toMaybole Regenerationn and the local Health and Social Care Partnership for their contributions too.

There is no doubt that more was spent on the Bruce 750 event than is normal for local galas, but it was a great celebration of the 750th anniversary of the birth of Robert the Bruce at Turnberry, recognising North Carrick’s part in the story of one of Scotland’s greatest Kings.

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers Andrew, Craig, Chloe and Natalie! Volunteers are such an important factor to be able to put events on so thank you guys for giving up your Saturday to help us make Bruce Festival a success!!

Also a big THANK YOU to the guys from John Jamieson Contractors and Merkland Farm Feeds for helping us do some of the heavy lifting before and after our event!

It was a privilege to work with so many amazing people and to see the community come together to support our event, especially those who gave us their spare time!

Well, we have all just about recovered from Saturday and we wanted to say a big thank you to everyone to attended our Bruce Festival and for supporting this event.

Planning and organising an event to this scale was no easy task for our small team but all our hard work paid off on Saturday as we finally got to see it all come together.

There are many people we need to thank for helping us make Bruce Festival possible, and we’ll get to it don’t worry 😉. But most importantly we want to thank every single person who decided to spend their Saturday afternoon with us!

Robert the Bruce would definitely have been proud to see such an amazing turn out to his birthday party 🥳

We hope you have all been inspired to take a deeper look into the history of Scotland and your local area, you might just learn something amazing about where you live✨

EVENT CAR PARKING 🚗

Travelling to Maybole by car?

We have a dedicated event car park at Cairn Primary School on Kirkland Street – only a 4 minute walk away! There will be stewards there to guide drivers in and out. Please note that drivers use this facility at their own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for any damage to cars parked there.

We will also have a limited number of spaces for blue badge holders on our event site, these are on a first come first served basis.
