The original Dark gift I learned and performed is from the undead author N.D. Blackwood in his vampiric trilogy Draugadrottinn, Scholomance and his last book Encyclopedia of Whampyrism but I adapted the rite with a few personalizations that differ from the original rite however the main structure of it respects what N.D.Blackwood has offered to the chosen ones for them to have the choice to be liberated from a birth cycle that never really ends.
