What a success, for our first Thomas Carnduff Summer Yard Session as part of EastSide Arts Festival.

GET TO KNOW: THOMAS CARNDUFF 📖

Shipworker, Orangeman, Poet. Thomas Carnduff was always a Sandy Row-raised, Dublin-educated writer who served in World War I and had a play staged at The Abbey in 1992. His musings on work, unemployment and identity captures the complicated layers that make up Northern Irish people. The Thomas Carnduff Society have met monthly since 2019 to read their own creative work, extracts from their heroes and thoughts on 'ordinary life.' 💼

The Thomas Carnduff Society meet as part of at Templemore Baths with guest speakers, poet & priest, Malcom Guite, playwright, Rosemary Jenkinson, author Mark Ward, poet Elizabeth McGeown and writer Gaynor Kayne.
