We had a very busy Mother’s Day weekend with 4 baseball and 2 basketball games but we managed to have a good race at Whiteland Saturday morning. Bentley was up early and ready to race. He got his first pole qualifying P1. Then he lead his heat race from start to finish. So he was on the pole for the final race and was pretty nervous and made a little mistake in turn 1 and got shuffled back and ran through the grass, putting him back to 5th place. He put his head down and got back up to 3rd with MPG motorsports running 1st 2nd and 3rd. Thanks to everybody that helps us out.

We went to New Castle Motorsports Park this weekend for their club race. We have never been there and tried not to set expectations too high for our first time. After a few practice sessions and some minor adjustments Bentley qualified 6th and ended up finishing the day with a 5th place, out of 11 mini swift racers. We were very satisfied with 5th place and his speed. He is getting faster and more confident every time we hit the track. We want to thank all of our sponsors for helping us out this year. Also want to thank Austin Taylor Racing and Dalton Sears Racing for the help.

We decided to head out to new castle for the first time and race on Sunday. Came out this afternoon and got a few practice laps in before the race tomorrow.

Race #3 today at Whiteland. The day started off pretty good with qualifying 5th. Made a few changes for the heat race and got spun out on the first lap but Bentley didn’t give up from last place and made it back to 10th. So we started the final in 10th and he drove the best race he has in a long time making it up to 5th place to finish the day. Congrats to team MPG for going 1st-5th in mini swift. Thanks to everybody that helps us out.
