The Santa Beach Run- a walk/run 5k supporting Carteret Partnership for Children. is on Saturday December 7, 2024. It includes the following events: Team Registration for Best Dressed Competition and Individual Registration.

Years ago when I was the ED I created an event to bring awareness to Breast Cancer 🌸 (since the Festival was always the 1st weekend in October).

It still continues today with collaboration efforts of the . Donations are presented to for the Breast Cancer Clinic each year!

My point is …think outside the box!
A festival can be a conduit for many ideas to share with others and impact your community!

Just a few things to think about before you start the sponsorship seeking process

1. Be sure to do your research so you know the audience at your event

2. Know the target audience of your sponsors business. Who is their customer? Does their customer align with your audience?

3. Do you know who the best prospects are to call on for your event? Or do you think that they have money to give to everyone?

4. Talk to your prospect in person about what they would like to have in their sponsorship. Custom design it for them.

5. You make the sell, not the proposal. Ask the hard questions and build an alliance with them!
