With family joining from NZ thanks to the magic of technology and a few loved ones by their side, Sina and Andrew finally tied the knot... 10years after Andrew proposed.

The rain clouds unfortunately unleashed for the ceremony but we had plan b ready with umbrellas and an undercover area.
The cake was cut and the rain stopped just long enough for the couple to venture around the garden for their portrait photos.

This may look like a boring photo at the moment, but this is the beginning of a new project... well not so much 'new' as it has been in the pipeline for over a year now.

It's finally time to build the DOME!

Couldn't have picked a worse time really, what with the hot, humid, and wet weather, but it's either now or probably another year with it leaning up against the aviary in pieces.

Had a super special moment yesterday - receiving an award thanks entirely to the incredible couples I've had the privilege to marry this past year, who voted for me in the Wedding Industry Awards.
A huge thank you from me to each and every couple who showed their support; I'm so lucky to do what I do and to meet and marry such wonderful people.

A big congrats also to Tayla Jayne Photography, who last night was awarded top 5 for Brisbane Photographers.
I am lucky enough to work with Tayla as one of the regular photographers here in the BTTC garden, so some of these wonderful couples I've spoken of above have their amazing memories to look back on, captured in beautiful photos thanks to Taylas talent.
