This was a very busy 10 days and without giving too much of a backstory I’ll say this, I had some Mold PTSD & severe anxiety going into this last week.
I was looking at a couple days away for a shoot, a big website return, a big product shoot, 3 weddings ( 8 hour, 9.5 hour in Tahoe backed up to an 8 hour in Foresthill) and praying these cluster headaches would leave. It was wild but this is how I got through it.
1. I prayed on the go A LOT. I prioritized water over caffeine, I took my vitamins - lots of vitamin c, d & magnesium. I was honest with those close to me about my stress and allowed help.
2. I have the best clients in the world. I was showered with love and gratitude from the content I returned to clients which made me feel like I could conquer the world. It restored some confidence to me. Making dreams happen for others is my dream.
3. Giving myself moments to breathe. We stayed at the ocean for an extra day, I celebrated every single time I left a phone call or meeting, every time I check something off my list I took a minute to breathe. I rested when I could because I needed it.
One thing that stood out to me this week is most of the outside vendors we work with have additional jobs or their spouses have jobs. That’s not the case in my household. This is it. Lonnie and I do this full time so when wedding season ends we are working our tails off to make sure we can give Scarlett a Christmas & pay bills. It’s because of you guys that we are able to live our dream and we never ever take it for granted. Thank you so so much for being a part of our lives and believing in us. 🖤

A day at the studio could look like this every day and I would be the happiest. I am so happy to have welcomed a creative, fun, chill and powerful group of people into my studio for this shoot.
Sometimes us vendors have to do things for us, sometimes we need to stretch our creativity more, practice what makes our hearts beat hard for and spend time learning together. We did that.
These styled shoots are for the vendors. They are a way to celebrate how far we have come, create content for what we can do and have fun doing it without a time crunch. It’s because of these days that we are sharper on wedding day.
