Club Patience Zero HellRoom Virtual Performance Space Presenting a new idea of a 1980's new wave punk club, we stage and commission live & recorded DJ / band / project performances.

Focusing on experimental / industrial / noise, we bring you dope known, unknown, and legendary artists from around the world. rewind...

Club Patience Zero inhabits two rooms inside a global warehouse:
-> HellRoom - In this room is a performance space with the mandate to present one-of-a-kind live and recorded DJ / music performances

We dedicated this room to honor NYC's Peppermint Lounge Night

Club. We experienced its incarnation of the early / mid 1980's. Its stage was graced by many of the now underground music scene legends when they were first starting their careers.

-> CPZ Media Lounge - This room is a media lounge for presenting interviews, screenings, and other art presentations

This space is designed in the essence of NYC's legendary Danceteria Video Lounge. It is recognized as one of the first of its type. [Having experienced Danceteria's second iteration as a legal venue in 1982, CPZ creator Darryl Hell was greatly influenced by its video lounge.]

In the 1970's / 1980's, almost all underground / alternative genres [death rock / goth, punk rock, alternative, industrial, new wave, hardcore punk, noise, experimental electronic] were only experienced in new wave / punk clubs. Venues like Danceteria in NYC, The Rathskeller in Boston, The Whiskey A Go-Go in LA, the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, among many others throughout the world, have been the breeding grounds for the alternative culture as a whole.

----> Club Patience Zero is the reliving of that ethos, while bringing new energy and ideas that are deeply rooted in the incredible times spent in these venues during those years. In a virtual space, we have inhabited a dual-hub structure. Our operations are managed and broadcast from HellLab, Brooklyn. The venue is in a secret location in a post-apocalyptic New York City warehouse. Using technology derived from leaked classified documents from "The Blanks," we use the warehouse to access performance rooms from around the world, and then present them to you from their broadcast locations.

EXACTLY ONE MONTH FROM RIGHT NOW!!!!!
Abstinence “Live @ Dark Force Fest”
Performance date/time: April 20th, 3:55pm

Abstinence, the oldest Industrial band from the NY/NJ/PA region to still be performing [1985 to present], will bring their captivating stage show and unique style of Industrial video music to a new generation of Industrial enthusiasts at Dark Force Fest. [BTW - We were the first Industrial band to play the famed Stone Pony.] The band’s all-star line-up is a testament to its impact and endurance in the industry that derives from its forward-thinking approach to Industrial music. Having played with bands like KMFDM, Disposable Heroes of Hypocrisy, 900 FT Jesus, Killing Joke, Author & Punisher, Consolidated, Virus 23, Pigface, Chemlab, Christian Death, Numb, and the like over nearly 40 years, the band has made its mark in and on Industrial history and culture.
