I am grateful to music and the wonderful healing powers it possesses. The ancient Greeks would have hymn specialists as well as physicians at their healing shrines as they understood that music provides a therapeutic purpose. Plato considered music to be "the medicine of the soul".

In my daily meditation, I typically pick a song of the day that both expresses the mood of the greater environment or just a song that resonates for me in what challenges I need to conquer for that given day.
