Utah Black Hat Society The Utah Black Hat society was founded in 2006 in Salt Lake City. A Witch's social group, the Black Hat Society offers the Witches High Tea each year.

The Black Hat Society is a group for all those who live a life of Magick. But don't always be so serious, take a whimsical view at having fun with the tall pointy black hats and to celebrate the pride of being who we are. Worn on the head Witch hats are symbolic of wisdom and intelligence. The pointed form of the witch's hat represents the cone of power. The cone of power is associated with the ci

rcle, the symbol of the sun, unity, eternity, rebirth and the triangle. Watch the group site for events such as Black Hat "High Tea", The Witches Wassail and other social gatherings! We are here to connect, socialize, and just have a good time. Trolls need not apply. Happy Flying!!!

Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s Utah Black Hat Society Witches High Tea at the Grand America Hotel.  the tickets for this event sold out in about a week. Our next high tea in October 2025 is our 20th anniversary event. Remember that tickets for this event will go on sale on Labor Day in 2025 at Crones Hollow and that seating is limited.
