In our series "What do our fans say," we hear from Stephanie in Connecticut.

"This one hits me in the feels for several reasons. I used to be married to a Jeremy. Speaking for the Abbys of the world, you nailed the female empowerment, and also how an oppressed person finds strength and self-love."

What else do our fans say?

"You have a hit show. It couldn't be more contemporary, and it includes about one visceral punch every other page. You're a great lyricist, and the melodies fit the songs."

Kenny from Illinois

What do our fans say?

"WOOOOWWWW!!! I've never seen a show like this and I wish everyone could see it. There are themes of love, acceptance, diversity, and finding and believing in your true self - and how the journey to get there is not easy. There will always be obstacles and challenges along the way. This is just the beginning, I know it!"

--Gillian from Flemington, New Jersey

Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, Ololade “Lola” Robinson is a triple threat performer and creative. Through attending Cleveland School of the Arts from Kindergarten to High school, they were able to immerse themself in all different forms of art. Lola found her passion for dance through participating in a community performing arts summer program, “Showagon,” that toured the city of Cleveland. During that time she trained in styles and techniques such as, Ballet, West African dance, Praise dance, and Horton Technique. From there she went on to broaden her technique training in Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater, Heels, Hip Hop, and Contemporary under the direction of Jonathan and Tracey Webb as well as Howard Washington. Lola graduated with the inaugural class for Commercial Dance BFA at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Her most notable performances include the 2021 NFL draft where she sang “Lift Every Voice”.
