Family Resources can come in a variety of forms and as they say, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." A facet of media attention comes from content creators including podcasts. The founders of True Crime Podcast Training developed a fully online course to allow others to join the movement for ethical true crime and commit to victim-centered true crime content.

Families are also encouraged to complete the course if they are interested in learning research techniques to start their own podcast for media attention.

Co-Founder, Haley Gray has been a victim advocate and true crime researcher since 2016. Her values of ethics, integrity and helping others propelled her into creating this training program. Partnering with co-founder Andrea Marshbank, a licensed reading, writing, and communications teacher, the one of a kind TCPT curriculum was developed. Andrea also researches and writes for multiple true crime podcasts.

Further supporting victim's families, TCPT donates a portion of all profits to relevant charities, like Angels' Voices Silenced No More, the DNA Doe Project and others.

We are thrilled to announce their attendance at the inaugural conference in 2025.
