Sweet Sixteen, Staging and Something Special
Lots going on and we will share in due time. For now, let’s take a moment to reflect on a recent celebratory event.
There’s just something about working with what you have - even if it’s only an idea, vision or a simple plan.
We recently helped out an incredibly busy mom who is also a nurse. She and her family wanted to make her daughter’s sweet sixteen special, yet between early and late hours at the hospital, with caring for her family and a multitude of life matters, she was trying to find extra hours to prepare and to also catch up on sleep. She reached out and asked for help. She shared what she was thinking and relayed her daughter’s desires. We worked with what we had to encompass their vision.
We go beyond decor and create memorable experiences. After we set up the tablescapes and added the finishing touches, we focused on the guests and the guest of honor. The guest of honor and her friends went skating while we set up and we staged the spaces. By the time they returned to their home for afternoon snacks, what was once a backyard with a patio, trampoline and pool was converted in a “teal-quailty” space.
We incorporated team development activities and it moved what could have been awkward silence to engaging conversations. In addition to setting up for the party, we staged the family’s living room to make it flowable, presentable and liveable. It’s so fun to see how much more people love their homes and remind them it was already their own space. It sure was a “sweet” sixteen party and we enjoyed our time helping everyone celebrate.
Remember Let’s Be Eventurous. We focus on events, experiences, gifts and staging; we help you safely celebrate you, your vision and your guests.
