The South’s Greatest Wrestling Fans

The South’s Greatest Wrestling Fans was a local (LP) television show that aired in the late 1990s. It started when a group of wrestling fans wanted to share local independent wrestling with a rural syndication across Northern Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas. It developed a good following across the south and on the internet. The SGWF became known for their fun approach and signature “Up Close and Personal” (fan cam) type videography and interviews. The company later evolved into the NWA Promotion for the state of Mississippi, which is a completely different story! Be sure to follow these over-dramatic, sometimes goofy, but always “serious wrestling fans”. We will be sharing some great memories!

Special thanks to any and all of the Original SGWF Crew; Jim Griffin, Billy D. McLain, Wes Jenkins, Joey Gray, and all of the other helpers, promoters, workers and fans that supported this group of enthusiasts successfully for so many years. “Where the hell else can you see something like that?”
