Without further ado we can announce that for the second year running ‘Drive N Dine 4 Cancer’ are the highest fundraising team in Huntingdonshire! 🔥

A whopping £5000 was raised today, the same amount as 2023!!! 😍😍

Once again a massive thank you to everyone involved, sponsors, volunteers and everyone that went above and beyond! 🫶🏼

This is Isabel, 8 years old soley runs this event all by herself which amazes me because me and Michael can barely hold it together at times🤣

Isabel went into school and did a presentation on the event & told her teacher and all her school friends that she runs the event all on her own & managed to raise £15 from all of her classmates & teachers.

Tomorrow isabel will be in our merchandise tent alongside some our team where she will be selling some of her merchandise that she has spent weeks making all on her own with the help of her little sister ivy & off her own back.
We are unbelievably proud of the work & effort she has put in to wanting to help & show her support. Her goal is to raise £150 by the end of the day tomorrow🤩

We can't wait to see you & yours cars tomorrow💜

Manchetts Rescue and Recovery 60th Anniversary Scania R520 working show truck will be in attendance! 😍

With its custom airbrushing show casing its original fleet of recovery vehicles from when the recovery business started in 1995. The truck features original Manchett family members who started the business back in 1961. George Manchett and his sons Peter and Ray Manchett, and is nicknamed the Grandad truck. 🫶🏼

Its custom interior is worth a look as it’s designed by the team and completed by Tranztech. Its bespoke custom exhaust stacks by Truckmax exhaust systems certainly make a roar! 🔥💜

David Fielder - BMW E46 M3

Fresh of the back of 2 podium finishes just last weekend at Snetterton in the Snetterton Saloons event where they were supporting the British GT Championship, SGM Motorsport and David and Chris Fielder of Express Forklift Services are proud to support Drive ‘N’ Dine Event.💜

Sadly as for many of us they know the true meaning of the battle against cancer and having won the race are proud to support this incredible event.🫶🏼

This BMW E46 M3 started life as a humble road car but now shares only around 25% of what you’d find on a road car as the Express Forklifts backed car has been built over the last few years to be a forefront of the championships it competes in.🔥

**VERY SPECIAL CONFIRMED ATTENDANCE**

Cedric Bloch’s Audi RS3 TCR! 😍

This car has been specially converted to allow disabled racer Credic Bloch to return to racing after a tragic motorcycle accident left his paralysed from the chest down. Cedric will be competing in the remainder of the TCR UK Championship with the support of SGM Motorsport.

A little more about Cedric’s incredible comeback:

Young father of two, Cedric, had a tragic accident on Saturday 4th September 2021 that resulted in a life-changing spinal cord injury.

As a semi-professional racing bike rider in the Quattro Group British Supersport & British GP2 Championships, Ced was racing at Snetterton race track when the accident occurred. Having joined the sport in 2019 after a solid career racing cars - mainly in Caterham’s, Ced won Bemsee rookie championship and most promising racer of the year in his first year. He then won the Bemsee clubman championship in his second year.

During the Saturday qualifying race, Ced’s brakes failed, he left the track and was flipped off his bike onto the grass. Tragically the spinal injury occurred when the 180kg bike proceeded to crash into the wall and rebound back on top of his body.

Cedric was rushed to Norfolk Norwich University Hospital where he had to undergo a 9hr emergency surgery to reconstruct his mid dorsal spine and drain his lungs. The impact broke all his ribs and his sternum along with his left led tibia and knee and his right wrist. As a result Ced is now paralysed from his chest down.

Since his accident Cedric has now returned to motorsport, firstly racing with Teambrit and not embarking on his biggest challenge in the competitive TCR UK Championship which he joins for the last three rounds.
