Good Morrow, everyone!

Our annual Bleeding Hearts Ball is swiftly arriving. We would like to clarify some interesting news about your evening libations.

Due to the historic nature of the building we will be throwing this lavish event in, we will be unable to provide a cash bar. But do not fret! We are utilizing tickets to offer our bartenders in exchange for drinks. To secure your liquid courage for the evening's fun, simply visit our Eventbrite page select "buy tickets" and follow the screen down to "Add-ons" (those of you who already purchased tickets, you can add that on separately). There you will find drink tickets available for purchase. This will free up your worries about purchasing drinks during the festivities you will doubtlessly be involved in.

We are delighted to know we will see you there!

Those of you traveling in for the VCD Presents: Bleeding Hearts Ball 6: The Dark Kiss that are looking for hotels there are some areas to consider. Our pre-party will be at Panoptikon on February 9, 2024. This is in Dallas. The ball is in Fort Worth. To avoid having to make a long drive between venues , please consider looking for hotels in these surrounding areas. The Arlington Entertainment District , Irving / Las Colinas , and Grapevine areas are central locations.

If you choose to stay in Fort Worth that is great because you will be close to the venue. The venue is located in the Business District of Fort Worth.

It is time to introduce Bri DeSade!

She will be performing at the VCD Presents: Bleeding Hearts Ball 6: The Dark Kiss .

This lovely woman is the Vice Director for the Vampire Court of Dallas and a truly talented artist.

Bri began performing at the age of four, and has been acting, singing , and dancing ever since. She is trained for film and stage, and is an opera-schooled soprano. Her resume contains such shows as Salem and Dallas (and more!); companies like Warner Bros, Nickelodeon and Disney; and her fav stage roles are Puck in Midsummer Night’s Dream and Artful Dodger in Oliver. The moment you have been waiting for has arrived! VCD Presents: Bleeding Hearts Ball 6: The Dark Kiss will be held The Woman's Club of Fort Worth .

The Woman's Club of Fort Worth occupies a 2.2-acre (0.89 ha) site on Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth's Near Southside, and includes structures in the Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Italian Renaissance Revival, and Craftsman styles. All structures in the complex are painted "antique Spanish white" to unify the disparate architectural styles. Four former residences built between 1903 and 1911, all originally part of the Quality Hill neighborhood, comprise the main buildings.

The Vampire Court of Dallas invites you to come celebrate as 2023 marks the centennial of The Woman's Club of Fort Worth.

The Vampire Court of Dallas is proud to announce our guest DJ for the VCD Presents: Bleeding Hearts Ball 6: The Dark Kiss !

He is from the San Francisco Bay area and will be spinning at Panoptikon for our pre-party and at the ball! Here is a little bit about DJ Owen!

If you spend time at Gothic clubs, you have probably seen Owen around. He has been a staple in the American Gothic Scene for decades from coast to coast. Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, his unique way of bringing joy to a dance floor can be experienced regularly at multiple clubs, including Night Shift, 1984, Club Absolution, and The Box, just to name a few, and can also be enjoyed on the weekly Hanging Garden Radio Show, which is heard throughout Northern California or anywhere in the world through the internet.

A love of, and devotion to, music has manifested in many forms over Owen's lifetime. Aside form being a trained classical musician in his own right, Owen has spun professionally in such divergent musical genres as Swing, 80's, Indie, Current Top 40, and Lounge. Even in the Goth/Industrial realm, he is unusually diverse, spinning anything from Ethereal, to Aggrotech & EBM, to Deathrock, to 80's & 90's Industrial, to modern & classic Darkwave, Post-Punk, and much more. He simply has a passion for music, itself, and sharing the feeling of experiencing its transcendence with others. This is why he is so eager to take and play as many requests as possible from the crowd. A club is a place to feel good.

The Gothic Scene is something truly special. It is more than just a place to go out; it is a genuine community. This is what draws many people to be part of it and this is why many of those people continue to stay with it well after their peers in age have lost interest in going to clubs. When not behind the DJ tables, you will often find Owen loving this community. Chances are good he is probably dancing on the floor or conversing with everyone. His personal contributions include creating clubs and festivals, playing benefits whenever possible, and even constructing group trips and tours.

When you see Owen around, say hello, make musical requests, and most of all, have a great time. After all, we're among friends and the joy of music. That's a good enough reason to celebrate any night!
