Something different...beef and mango salad!
I know, I know. Fruit in a salad? What?! I normally am not one to put fruit in my salad, but I promise you this works! Green leaf lettuce, carrots, celery, mango, green onion, cilantro, ribeye, peanuts, and fried onions. The sauce is a perfect balance between umami, sweet, and sour with minced garlic and Thai chili peppers.
**side note: it took me 2 tries to perfect the sauce, and it is amazing with this salad! The ribeye can definitely be replaced with shrimp, or you can add shrimp.

Here is our first rollout item for the year!
Sweet Sticky Rice.
This is a dessert made with sticky rice. You can eat it as is, or pair it with some mangos, which is my favorite! Sometimes, it is eaten with Vietnamese "ham". Simply delicious.
Did I mention that the color of the rice can be anything you want it to be? Our daughter chose blue, so we decided to do different shades of blue!

Just a couple of things to announce:
1. I'm sad to say I will be skipping an eggroll rollout for December. You can still order any previous rollout items!
2. We have been thinking out the box and testing and trying new things. Please stay tuned for January's rollout 😉.
As promised, we are showing how the eggrolls could be prepared as an entree. This is called Bun Cha Gio Nem Nuong. In English this is known as Vermicelli with eggrolls and BBQ pork. Some call this dish a "Vietnamese noodle salad". This particular bowl has veggies (shredded lettuce, cucumbers, carrots) on the bottom. The middle has the Vermicelli noodles. Then it is topped with the eggrolls and BBQ pork. This pairs well with Thai basil and mint leaves too! You can add whatever you want.
The BBQ pork was thrown in the deep fryer, but you can either pan fry or bake the pork.
This can be topped with crushed peanuts. If you can get your hands on some uncooked peanuts then fry them and crush them. Yummm!
There is a sauce that we normal drizzle on top. The sauce is a staple in Asian cuisine. The best way to describe the sauce is that it's umami, sweet, and tangy.

We've got the traditional rolls rolling! Rolled roughly 9 dozens. I have a large party to roll for mid November-150 eggrolls. Phew!!

Second, I want everyone to know that orders can be placed anytime. Once the roll out for an item begins, you can request them at any time. Just send a message so we can coordinate something.
Items about wood work/decor can be messaged to be discussed if it is something that can be done. Our wood products will not have roll out, just our yummy food!
Ask and you shall receive. Can anyone guess what this going to be? This will be the next roll out item!

Just completed 1 more order and I had a little more than a handful left. Freshly deep fried! Yum. Super crunchy. Perfectly golden brown. Here it is as an "appetizer" paired with a sweet chili sauce. One of the ways we would eat it. Next time, I'll show you guys how we eat it as an entrée!
I have traveled the world for 3 days to find ground pork!! I finally found some. Time to stop porking around and get to rolling, packing, and freezing these bad boys.
We will have 4 oz bottles of sauce for sale. It's a sweet chili sauce. Later we will post how we normally eat these delicious eggrolls!

The monthly food item special for October are Vietnamese Eggrolls! They are generally done with ground pork, but I can also do ground chicken, or both.
These freeze well. Just fry when you are ready to eat. Make sure to pair it with Mae Ploy sauce. Yummm!
