Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely mummy's, step mummy's, nanny's and Grandma's. To all the should be mummy's and want to be mummy's. To all daddy's that are stepping in to be mummy's. To the mummy's that are not by blood but by love. To the fur baby mummy's, to the mummy's that are looking down from the stars, and to anyone I have missed.
I have had the best first Mother's Day with my little family.

Morning. Having some much needed family time this week to mark my maternity leave coming to an end. Can't believe how quickly this year has gone!
Thank you to everyone for all the support. I wouldn't have got this far without you. I will keep pushing to make my dream come true. But for now, time for a little week off with the family.

Sunflowers and Daffodils were requested as being a feature.... Look at all that yellow. 😍

Not the most flattering of photo to post. But as you can tell I love pigs!! This love partly inspired the Flower Pig name. (Just to put it out there these are not my pigs ... I wish they were!) 🐖
I thought I would add to my first post with a bit about me and take the time to share my dreams and aspirations for Flower Pig.

For those who are still with me Hello!
So as I said before I'm Sami. I'm a wife and a new mother (although I have been a fur baby mumma to two cats for 8 years! 🐈 🐈⬛️)
I've had 6 months of this mum life and although at times it is tough it is wonderful. So I'm currently on maternity leave. I started the idea of Flower Pig in January 2022. I created all of my wedding flower arrangements and those around me said I should do it as a business. Since then I have had the absolute privilege of creating wedding arrangements, birthday arrangements, baby announcement and much more.
Still with me. Have I sent you asleep yet?? 😴 do you need a cuppa? ☕️
August 2022 we had the most wonderful news and found out I was pregnant. Working full time and dealing with the usual prenatal highs and lows meant that Flower Pig took a bit of a back foot. In May 2023 I give birth to our beautiful baby boy and it has been a crazy rollacoster.
Whilst being on maternity, turnig Flower Pig into a business has been on my mind. So what a great time to start now my son has learnt to roll and he doesn't stay where I leave him!! 🤦♀️🤣
To grow Flower Pig I am going to concentrate on making flower crowns and headbands to sell on Etsy and see where it takes me. I am currently doing an online wiring masterclass which will help me further my skills to make beautiful flower crowns. I love creating wedding arrangements and find it such a privilege to be asked, so I will be available to take on a few bespoke arrangements.
So apparently (on Instagram) you only get a limited amount of characters, so thanks for getting to the end of this! Will post more soon.Much love 🌸 🐖

So I had the pleasure in making these two garlands for yesterday’s annual Pink Ladies Tractor Road Run. The money that these ladies raise, goes to Breast Cancer Research which is very close to my heart.
