Today is going to be a fun packed day.
Off to Chester.
Find a new cosy coffee shop.

Because there’s only so many days you can work in the house 😅

Then my goal is to finish the Christmas shopping.
So I can enjoy December.
We are off on holiday ✈️

I just want a stress free December.

Today been up since 4.45, a good walk and got PT this morning, then kick start the day with work on our new app 🤜…

My easy Lemon 🍋 & Banana 🍌 Pancakes 🥞

⚪️ 2 heap tbsp smooth peanut butter
⚪️ 2 eggs
⚪️ 2 bananas
⚪️ 2 tbsp xylitol
⚪️ 2 drops of Lemon Flavouring

Makes: 12 Pancakes 🥞

Method:

Blend with hand blender, or use fork and mix until smooth. Heat a pancake pan with coconut oil and pour mixture in. I like to do 3-4 mins on the stove and then pop in the oven to cook through, then when 90% done I take back out, flip the pancake and do 1-2 minutes back on the stove.

Serve with natural yoghurt, honey and strawberries and blueberries 🫐

What’s next? We took a break from any Reno work, whilst we are going through planning. Our extension was approved but the double story garage was not 👎🏼

So, we decided to appeal. It’s a long process. If it doesn’t get approved we may change our plans… we aren’t sure.

Having kids, businesses and wanting to live life has made us rethink some of our priorities and if we want to spend the next 10yrs renovating?

Maybe we still will be… 🥺

We have days where we consider buying something completely done (but costs us more to move) or throwing in the towel, going mortgage free with something smaller and low maintenance …

We also consider one day building or own 🏡

I’ll be honest - we have no idea what we want to do 🤯🤯🤯

So we keep on going 😂

Will let the universe decide! 🪄 🌟

Every time I walk around our garden I remember why be bought this house 🪴… but the maintenance of a garden like this, is….. costly 🤦🏼‍♀️

Anyways thoughts over!

A few photos from our anniversary night away in Manchester! We went to watch at Bridgewater hall and then for a meal at … followed by breakfast at …. I mean what’s a night away if it’s not all about food 🤣

Back to full keto, 4 weeks until trip to Palma and I’m not eating out until then! I honestly don’t think I could live in the city, I’d just eat!

The snug is coming together! The chair isn’t staying (this is Elsie Mae’s) but just brought it down to gauge size…

I can swap cushion colours if I get bored or seasonally…. Which is why I chose neutral for everything!

Hello nice new refurbished front door, still a few touch ups but we are loving the fresh “ash grey” from (technically pale green!)

Since the little two babas 👶🏼 have come along, these doggies 🐶 don’t get as much attention… so we are giving them extra dog walks, more cuddles and got them a new bed. I think Charlie is a fan of the new carpet… I just love how silent the house is now we don’t have to hear creaking up and down the stairs! Thanks to for the fantastic job 👌🏼

Shelf styling to be done! But I’m loving our snug, I went for neutral furnishings and throughout the seasons I’m going to mix up the colours!

I’m in love 🥰…. Harvey’s bedroom now has these box pelmets, which is a beautiful fabric!

Next, we will get the curtains made in a nice grey fabric. Whenever I design a room I always make sure that the fabrics and furnishings will last a good while… and swap out the accessories based on the seasons, which is much more cost effective!

I see people redecorating constantly and I just don’t know how they have time and the costs involved… 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’d prefer to do it once and spend good money on getting it right! If you do it right, you won’t want to change it. I know that this room will grow with Harvey 💚💚

How beautiful is this kitchen?

Some inspiration I have found. For some reason, I’m drawn to houses in America, particularly those on Long Island, some amazinnnnng houses.

I love the mix of contemporary thrown in with a little Laura Ashley vibe…. Transitional. Perfection ❤️❤️

I’ve just finished working, I really didn’t want to work tomorrow and have a day off before my hols, but it’s looking like there is too much to do.

Does anyone else wish there was another 74638 hours in the day! 😭😩

Another summer coming to an end and still haven’t got electrics finished in the garden. We started garden lighting and kitchen area nearly a year ago, got started along with other electrics in the house… and never got finished. Kids bedrooms been without lights for months. Was booked in and they didn’t turn up… typical tradespeople 😵‍💫 anyways, I’m a big believer everything happens for a reason…

So the reason… I’m going to say without this being done, we have had more time and attention on the main part of the house and I’m super excited to say it’s nearly nearly finished!

But I’ve just checked the weather in next week and it’s looking goooooood. The bbq will have to wait 👁️
