IT’S BEEN A HELL OF A YEAR..in SO many different ways.

I have grown so much. Personally + within my business. I want to thank everyone that trusts in me to create magical wedding days + getting to do what I love everyday, and supporting me in my personal life as I experience incredible amounts of loss + heartbreak.

I have such an incredible community and genuinely feel so blessed all the time.

I’m ready for a fresh start this year with continual growth, healing, grief, learning, consistency, love, and hard work.

I am now offering Timeline Creation!!

This is for all of you brides that may not want to or have the budget to hire a professional Wedding Planner or Day-Of Coordinator but are still wanting a very professional + logical timeline for your wedding day!

Not everyone’s specialty is timing + it can be a very overwhelming part of the planning process. Your vendors that you hire will probably be asking lots of timing questions leading up to the day + it can get confusing keeping it all straight… THIS is where I’d come in!

I will have 2 in depth phone/video calls to go over all those logistical details and help you generate a timeline based on so many factors unique to your day.

examples:
- you may or may not have a first look

- you don’t gain venue access til 12pm and need to get ready off site

- your florist is doing a day of install for your ceremony arbor

- what time kegs need to be tapped in order to be ready for cocktail hour

- what time hair and makeup needs to start to have you ready for wedding party photos

- if you have photo/video booked for a different amount of hours, when do you want each to show up and leave

There are so many different things that can make or break a smooth wedding day and it really all has to do with logical timing. If things are taken care of, enough buffer time, and everyone on the same page you will probably get to enjoy your wedding day that much more 🤍

Hi I am Dani - woman behind the biz🤍

here are 5 things i’ve learned after starting my business a little over a year ago:

1. JUST GO FOR IT
whatever that may be. if it’s dreams you have, goals you want to reach, places you wanna go.. make it happen! You are your own boss, make the rules + decide your own success! nobody will do it for you.

2. IT’S HARDER THAN IT LOOKS
running a business is not easy! I have a business degree + learned so much in school about how to run a business but it’s a lot harder when you are actually doing it. every business is different and of course they were not teaching me how to run a wedding planning business in class. So a lot of things are self taught, listening + learning from others in the same industry, and just straight up grinding!

3. LOVE WHAT YOU DO
the reason you start a business usually stems from a passion you have. if you don’t love what you do, you probably shouldn’t be doing it because it’s going to take a lot from you. it’s exhausting at times. you don’t really have days off (even when you do you don’t). you are the CEO so you have to be available at all times for your clients whatever it may be, so you better LOVE it!!

4. DON’T OVERBOOK YOURSELF
when I started, i got to do a lot of weddings right off the bat (I have amazing people that referred me with little experience + I will love them forever for that)! But knowing when to say no or carving out specific times in the year you want to yourself, is so important!! it’s okay to say no! you do not want to over book yourself and feel burnout in your first couple years. if you are planning to make a career out of your business, learning to not say yes to everything that comes your way will make a big difference in the long run!

5. COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION
there are SO many weddings every year all over the globe! everyone needs (not always gets but NEEDS) a coordinator/planner for their big day. there are enough to go around. networking is huge!!! finding people that you trust + building that relationship with them will help you so much in the long run. love, encourage, hype up, and learn from those around you!

🍂 feeling incredibly thankful 🍂

in honor of this beautiful Fall season, I want to say thank you for all of the continuous LOVE + encouragement I receive on a daily basis. whether it be from close friends, far friends, family, followers, my lovely clients, and everyone else in between..

also VERY thankful for:
• belly laughs at nothing
• going on hikes alone
• long phone calls with my momma
• pursuing my dream career
• food in my belly
• church on sunday morning
• warm showers
• car rides on the oregon coast
• old photo albums
• no car payment
• being “aunt deeny”

✨WEDDING PLANNING MISTAKES YOU MIGHT BE MAKING✨

1. NOT HIRING A PROFESSIONAL
- hiring a planner will help relieve the stress of planning your own wedding. you’ll have someone knowledgeable of the industry on your side that knows every detail of your day. someone to answer all the questions that arise on your wedding day. you won’t have to answer a single one.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. PRICE HUNTING FOR VENDORS
- you should definitely find vendors that fit within your budget. but if that means settling for someone you don’t necessarily want to have on your wedding day to save money, you’re doing it wrong. most of the time, you get what you pay for!! there are vendors such as planning, photographer, videographer, florist, etc. that play a huge role on your wedding day + you should find ones that value you and you value as well.

3. OVERTHINKING SMALL DETAILS
- there is an endless list of details that will be a part of your big day. your guests pay far less attention to those details than you may think. Instead of driving yourself crazy, save yourself the headache (probably some money as well) + figure out what’s most important to YOU. focus on those details rather than pleasing everyone attending. trust me, they are just happy to be there celebrating your love story!!

4. INVITING GUESTS TO PLEASE OTHERS
- some people feel that they need to invite EVERYONE. truth is, you don’t! weddings can get expensive. Invite the people that have made an impact on you + your fiancé’s life. you shouldn’t be meeting anyone for the first time on your wedding day. one way can be cutting back on the amount of plus 1’s you give out.

INTERNS FOR 2022, where you at??

as I said in my stories, I have had so many people reach out recently wanting to assist me at weddings + learn more about being a wedding planner! I am always asking around for assistants on wedding days so I decided to prepare early this year…

I will be taking on 3 interns for next busy season (which can be anywhere from March until October)! If you are only available for part of the season, still reach out, we can make something work😊 depending on the size of weddings I will either have 1 or 2 of you at each wedding! this will allow me to get things done efficiently with extra hands and not be spread extremely thin especially if something goes wrong + I need help!

Basically, wherever the wedding is located you would stay with me the night prior or the night of depending on where you will be traveling from! You can assist at ceremony rehearsals + wedding days! You would shadow me throughout the day helping keep everyone on time according to the wedding day timeline created prior!

Hi friends of the Facebook world! Many of you know about my business already because I share everything over on my Instagram! BUT I thought it was time to bring some of the love to FB❤️

I’ll be posting different things + it’ll be another way to interact with the people who don’t use Instagram as much!

For you newbies, I am Dani! Owner of Dani Bee Weddings. I have officially been in business for 7 months now!! (Woooohooooo) I have officially planned/coordinated 10 weddings this season! Talk about wedding BOOM! I’ll be 24 in a couple weeks! I live in Springfield but have been traveling all over Oregon + Washington for weddings. This is my dream. I have been wanting to plan, style, and design beautiful wedding days since I was young! Look at what this dream has become in such a short amount of time!

I LOVE love + connecting with all the people that I come across in this industry. People come together to make somebody’s day their absolute dream and something they will never forget. (& you’re telling me I get to do this for a living?!) Pinch me.
