I love this floating shelf Storys Home Improvements put in - I use the herbs all the time and love seeing the spoons our son has whittled and the Ellie by Mary Ann Rogers Gallery is one of my faves so all in all great job Ian!

First use of incredible oven, advised, installed and wired by Storys Home Improvements - it heats up in seconds. Touch screen, and unbelievably easy to use! Great job Ian! 😍brownies for end of year presents for teacher’s. So if you’ve been naughty you know what to buy! 😂😂

Well yesterday was fun, veg growing and chicks 🐣 popping out! Hopefully plenty of hens to replace the ones that were pinched..so my organic eggs can be plentiful and can have fresh eggs to make delicious brownies to post out to hungry mouths. And recently soufflés have come back into my life so what better way to use fresh eggs 🥚 💜❤️

Dinner: Scallops, crispy bacon, beef fillet and chocolate tart…My idea of heaven and I didn’t have any but I did receive a standing ovation which made my day and made me blush a lot..🤣🤣🤣

This wonderful event was created by the lovely who is hosting what will be the best pop up shopping session of the year in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Care. Get your friends together, make a day of it, shop till you drop, re energise with my food, then shop again…tickets available in advance or on the door. Look forward to seeing you all there 🌸🩷🌸

Conquering together 💪🏽💚🤍

With just 10 days to go, training is going well and I have some lovely news - Sam and Elsie have decided to run the final 10k of my Ultra Marathon with me 🥹🥰

I feel great, though the nerves are starting to kick in a little. I’ve got all my running kit and I’ll be taking my training South this weekend to Elsies school showjumping championships. I’m hoping my psoas muscle behaves!! 🏃‍♀️

I am so overwhelmed by people’s kindness, generosity and amazing words of support. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You ⭐️

On Saturday 28th October I’m running an Ultra Marathon in Yorkshire to raise every penny I can to support the simply irreplaceable work of the medical teams who saves our daughters life.

On April 6th 2022, Elsie and I were involved in a terrifying accident at home involving a quad bike. I was thrown clear, but the quadbike landed on Elsie’s middle, crushing her.

Three incredible medical teams of people saved her life. The Great North Air Ambulance, Northern Ambulance services and The Great North Children’s Hospital. I’ll never be able to truly thank them for their hard work and care, but I hope by running the Ultra marathon in Scarborough on 28th October 2023, I can raise a fantastic amount of money to support their ongoing, invaluable work. Please, dig deep. It means so much to our family 💙

The hazelnut trees are laden with nuts this year. They aren’t quite ready to pick yet but when the nut comes away from the husk easily they are ripe to pick. It doesn’t matter if they are white/green. If you want to eat them immediately you can, they are really fresh and tasty. Or you can dry them on a vented tray in a shed where there’s good air flow for 2-4 weeks. Give the nut a shake and you should hear a rattling nut within 😉

Chopped strawberries, raspberries, cherries and water melon, dressed in a mint, maple syrup and lime dressing. I am now addicted 😂😋Serve with homemade ice cream and its a taste sensation.
