𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝑼𝒑! 𝑩𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑽𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒓...💍✨

One of my clients recently got scammed by a vendor who took their money, lied and ghosted. It’s heartbreaking—and honestly, it’s not their fault. Most vendors are amazing, but unfortunately, bad business *does* exist. 😔 Here are some tips to help protect you and make the planning process smoother:

𝑫𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌:
Yes, it’s totally okay to be a little nosy! Check out their social media, dive into reviews, and don’t be afraid to ask for a portfolio or referrals. If something feels off or there’s a lack of real feedback, trust your gut. A strong online presence and client reviews can give you peace of mind. But don’t stop there—schedule an in-person or Zoom meeting to really get a feel for your vendor. Trust is key, and sometimes you just need a face-to-face (or screen-to-screen!) conversation to know if they’re the right fit.

𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈:
Contracts can be full of legal talk, but they’re SO important. Make sure you’re clear on what’s included, what’s not, and what happens if things change. Cancellation policies and refundable deposits? Pay close attention to those, too. It’s all about protecting your investment!

𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝑽𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔:
Your vendor team only wants the best for you. We work with vendors we trust, know well, and have experience with. So if we recommend someone, it’s because we’ve seen them deliver time and time again. You can trust that they’ll bring their A-game for your big day!

At the end of the day, it’s your first time (and hopefully only time!) planning a wedding—so don’t feel bad if you don’t know all the ins and outs. That’s why we’re here to help! Most businesses are incredible, but always do your research and make sure you’re working with the best.😊

Let’s talk Satationery ✨ I
This area is often underestimated when considering the overall vision of your wedding. It’s a missed opportunity, that should be considered more carefully, because your stationery can truly narrate a story. It serves as the guests’ first impression upon receiving a save the date or invitation suite, and later becomes a cherished keepsake with es**rt cards, menus, or thank-you notes. Hiring a designer (such as myself) early on can help ensure seamless integration between your stationery and wedding design. Together, we can collaborate closely with a stationery artist, like or to create a cohesive and memorable experience. 🥰

Where the vision was born: I remember leaving this gathering with a profound “Holy F%*!k, where has this been my whole life” realization😯

The term “wholesome,” unexpectedly surfaced during the celebration- I kinda just said it, in a moment of silence while we were all deeply focused on creating. And since then I’ve been trying to define that.

Here’s what I’ve put together: Wholesome is a feeling. It entails authentic warmth, kindness, and a deep collective sense of connection that unexpectedly fills your cup. It’s an environment where people support, encourage & uplift one another. This extends beyond the moment, leaving a lasting impression of joy and harmony among those present❤️
