Miss Emily Cullins was able to meet Miss Rodeo America tonight at the Norco Horseweek practice 💕 Look for our new queens at the Norco Horseweek Rodeo this weekend! They will be riding in the parade on Saturday and our Yucaipa Rodeo will be represented at every rodeo performance, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This weekend is the Yucaipa Rodeo Queen contest! Coronation is this Sunday! We will post the winners on Sunday. Good luck to all the wonderful ladies running. So excited for all of you! It's going to be a fun and fabulous weekend.

Rodeo Ticket sales this Saturday at the Banning Boot Barn, 11-1 or 1-3. You can pick which 2 hour time slot you want!

For our clinic tomorrow we will be doing horsemanship first! Little and Young contestants will do their patterns first so please be READY TO RIDE AT 1:00. Junior and Miss contestants go to the office first for your speech practice and whatever else you need help with.

Then we will switch, junior and miss to the arena and the little and young contestants to the office. You can do your flag tryout right after you practice your horsemanship pattern and queen run. The arena committee needs us to be finished in the arena by 4:00 so they can start the de-rocking process. The arena is dry and dusty, just be aware. It needs to be dry for the de-rocking.

We won’t be selling rodeo tickets at the concert tonight or tomorrow. Nobody from the committee is available to help. We will be at Boot Barn on the 30th!

Our last clinic is Sunday, March 24th! Fral and Moe will be helping you with horsemanship patterns and it's your last chance to tryout to carry a flag in the rodeo. We will also be in the office to help you anything you need...speech, interview, impromptu, clothing, hair and makeup tips.

April 1st is the deadline for ads in the coronation program so be sure to turn those in. You can also bring your silent auction items on Sunday.

If you still need help and can't be there Sunday you can contact anyone of us on the committee and will arrange another time to help you. Our goal is for you to succeed! Don't be shy to ask for help.

There will be another opportunity to sell rodeo tickets to the public at our Mutton Bustin' BBQ tomorrow! Remember, you get sales credit for your top sales award for tickets that are purchased. I will open up the ticket sales about 11:00. All queen contestants and current queens are invited to come to this fun event that kicks off our rodeo!

We added a bonus education and speech clinic, Sunday, March 10th at the Yucaipa Arena office. 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Education is 50 points of your total score!

Who can come help the community buy their tickets online? You can also get credit toward your top sales award at the same time! We are hoping to have contestants and current queens too from 10:00 to noon and from noon to 2:00. You don't have to stay the entire time, we can split it up into two shifts or you can just come when you can, even if for just an hour. Dorothy and I will both be there with our laptops to assist with their online purchases. I received our contestant sashes today so we will have them by Saturday!!!

Community members who need online purchase assistance can get the help of our Yucaipa Rodeo Queen contestants at Tractor Supply in Calimesa, CA, this Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Credit cards accepted only.

Rodeo Queen contestants who make a sale will also get sales credit towards their top sales award! Come and see us!

Reminders for the contestants….
* Please check your email every day for updates.
* Deadline for bios is today.
* The deadline for the rodeo program is today so if you have any sponsors who want ads in the rodeo program the deadline is today.
* Education clinics will be March 10th and March 24th. No education clinic on Sunday the 3rd. The rest of the clinics will be still going on.
* We will be having the horsemanship clinic and flag tryouts on Sunday. We have a covered arena.
* Sunday, March 3rd, is the absolute last day for photos to get them in the rodeo program.
* April 1st is the deadline for the coronation program ads…however, if they’re wanting a full page ad, the deadline is today to get the business card in the rodeo program.

Are you a reigning rodeo queen? We want to share your title with our social media followers. If you hold ANY rodeo queen title in the state of California- PRCA, IPRA, CHSRA, etc we will feature you on our pages. What we are asking of you is to send us a head shot, a short bio, and please include any social media pages you want us to tag or hashtags to use. We look forward to learning more about our local girls throughout the state!
