Public Service Announcement:
As a Dj, my minimum rates are,
$100 an hour for private parties etc.
For live shows, it depends on the situation. If I’m only djing for 1 artist, it’s the standard $100 an hour rate. If I’m doing an entire show from start to finish with multiple artists, it’s $175 an hour.
Weddings are a little different. If I’m only doing the reception, it’s $125 an hour and if I’m providing all the sound from start to finish, it’s $1,500 with a $500 deposit to lock down the day and I’ll also dj the rehearsal.
All services come with a deposit of half of the total cost for me to do your event, except for weddings which is stated above.
Me being me, I’ll definitely work with people, but please do not disrespect my time and talent with cheap offers because if you know me, you know I’d never do you like that. Just because this dj thing is “Soul Food” for me, doesn’t mean I will accept hugs and handshakes as payment.
