Did you know yesterday was been coined “Quitters Day”?

It has to do with the initial burst of motivation that comes at the start of a new year, and it tending to dwindle as we go into the third week of January.

THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE YOU MY FRIEND.

And here is why…

❌ you aren't going to rely on willpower alone
❌ you won't feel crushed by the amount of sustained effort it takes
❌ you don't run your choices through your logic filter (aka conscious mind)

Oh no… your dreams are far too important for that.

As the ambitious, dreamer, action-taker that I know you are, you've decided (and so it is inevitable) that you are going to do what it takes to make that version of you, your reality.

You aren't a quitter because you:

✅ Effortlessly show up each day without willpower being a part of the equation
✅ You understand and accept that achieving success isn't always comfortable
✅ You are taking action from the version of you who has already achieved her goals.

Women who work at the subconscious level – they don't quit, nor does the thought even cross their mind.

Because women who work at the subconscious level are rigging the system and using it to their advantage.

They are accelerating their success because they know that the subconscious only processes what you tell it as truth. It doesn't know the difference between imagined and reality.

So when you speak directly to the subconscious mind, it believes everything you say as fact.

I always thought my hair was “wavy”. I hated my curls. They always looked stretched out, frizzy, unmanageable. I never wanted to wear my hair natural, even though I wanted low maintenance hair.

For me blow drying and and straightening was SO much work. And even then I’d literally require a flat iron just to tame the frizz. 🫠

Basically o hated my hair in general and just accepted I was born without great hair 😬

BUT THEN… everything changed for me.

My hair was at the worst point in a long time. (See first photo below). I had recently had a cut and my hair was destroyers. The ends were uneven and looked mangled. It wasn’t growing. It just kept getting worse. I really didn’t know what to do.

I had already been using professional/ salon products (and really expensive ones). I had tried numerous brands from salons and from
Sephora.

I started to see transformation reels on Instagram for Monat and I thought, my hair can’t get worse than it is right now 😅. But if it worked for these women who literally look like they have hair extensions (but they don’t!) it must be able to work for me too.

I will never not use Monat. I cannot believe how much I love my hair now.

I went from

❌frizz frizz frizz
❌ can’t run be fingers through hair, if I did I could literally feel the breakage and my hands would be covered in pieces of hair.
❌ curls were non existent
❌ so I wore my hair “straight” but that required a ton of work and still, I didn’t love it
❌ my hair felt like it wasn’t growing AT ALl
❌ was super thin and just so damaged
❌ dull, lifeless, 0 shine is how I would describe it
❌ it was SO porous. It would hold so much water and soak up so much product. (I later found out porous hair is damage caused by rip and tears leaving it unsealed)

Since using Monat though…

✅ my hair is SO manageable
✅ can easily run my fingers through my hair whether I blow dry it or leave it curly
✅ I haven’t touched a flat iron since
✅ hair is SO shiny, it looks like I coated it in gloss
✅ it’s grown 6 inches in about 8 months
✅ curls are REAL. They have bounce and spring to them
✅ haven’t seen a single split end
✅I don’t use gel, mousse, hairspray, curl cream etc.
✅ I simply use a leave in conditioner, that’s it
✅ to wear my hair in it’s naturally curly state, I twist it into a high bun and go to bed with damp hair. It the morning, it’s dry and styling is not required.
✅ overall my hair is just so healthy I could cry.

See for yourself the before and afters. Even if you don’t have damaged hair like I did, is it the healthiest or could be?

Summer solstice. It certainly hasn’t felt like summer this year in the PNW but here’s to that turning around ☀️

Here’s some cool foods to introduce to your diet this summer to restore balance.

Sweet fruits like ripe bananas,cherries, melons, pineapple
Avoid under ripe or sour fruits

Sweet and bitter vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, radishes, leafy green veg, parsley, carrots, potatoes, cumcumber

Fresh herbs like mint, cilantro, fennel, dill

Avoid ice-cold drinks to increase absorption and digestion .

Make this watermelon-mint smoothie 🍉
2 cups of chopped watermelon
1 cup of chopped cucumber
12 fresh mint leaves (or to taste)
Squeeze of lime (avoid too much sour)

Blend together and drink 🍹

Becoming was something I never could have imagined; and yet I did. A series of pivots, listening to my heart, my guides and soul checking. What came to fruition was this space to help women see their worth. For them to know that we all belong here. We all deserve more than we could ever dream of. It’s our sacred birth right to step into our feminine power of flow, creativity, joy, abundance and truth. To nurture, to love, to grow, to rise.

We are full of unlimited potential. The possibilities and opportunities within our universe is endless. Once we realize that we’re able to bring awareness to ourselves and move forward. To clearly see the lies we’ve been told or have told ourselves out of fear, uncertainty and ego.

Those are the words that came to me when I thought about this wellness collective and what it means to me.

Its more than just one thing. And wellness is not linear. I help women heal their limiting beliefs and become a more whole version. I see you mamas who don’t quite feel like the old version of you exists anymore. I want to nurture; my daughter, this community, my garden. And what you nurture grows. Growth comes in all shapes and forms and even has different meanings in different scenarios. And as I deepen my own spirituality and learn more about my soul, it’s purpose, and all that we are capable of— I can’t help but feel overwhelming gratitude.

Life needs to be what you want it to be.

What I’m saying is that we have the capability to make any version we “want” for our life — the version we actually live.

If there’s something in your life that isn’t bringing you joy, fun, freedom, love, and/or money, ask yourself why it’s still a part of your life. Dig deep and you’ll discover some limiting beliefs that have held you back from propelling to the next level.

But you get to choose what feels good. We’re here to live and experience life, not to stand back in fear.

I took this week (mostly) off with my parents here visiting. My plan was to prep a bunch of posts and emails for my new program launch but truthfully I’m just one person and couldn’t get it done in time. And you know what? I have created my life to have the freedom and flexibility that I do. To take the week and enjoy it without guilt. To pick up on my work right where I left it. And I hope to teach you the same.

What does your future life look like? That’s the first thing we dig into in the Radicalized Beliefs Blueprint. It’s meant to get you really thinking about how it could look if your ego stopped judging you. And then we work through releasing what it is that has held you back (and will continue to do so if not released). Release. Reprogram. Start living the life that brings you nothing but joy, fun, wealth, love, freedom, etc.

First little veggies of the season. These radishes are so beautiful and we’re the best radishes I’ve ever had! Nice and mild. Little gems.

It’s so rewarding to grow your own food, such a sense of accomplishment!

What’s your favourite thing to grow? I think these radishes will be one of my favourite choices, along with heirloom carrots and definitely tomatoes. We have 8 tomato plants this year 😍

Would you believe I used to hate mixed greens (and kale and spinach too).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But I knew how nourishing they were and so I DECIDED to love them. 👀. Truth.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course I didn’t just say to myself, ok you like greens now. I rewired the way my brain stored this information to actually love it instead. 🥬
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The really cool thing about working way the subconscious level is that anything is possible. If you want to start liking a really nourishing food, stop liking one that doesn’t serve you, stop smoking, like moving your body, change the behaviour of choosing to sit instead of getting up to move, etc. you can.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Its possible to make all of these changes easily and effortlessly. ✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And those are just the surface level identity changes. There’s also really deep, life-changing techniques available to completely change how you view the world. To truly let go of the beliefs that no longer serve you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The only thing stopping you from making these changes —is you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can have anything you want. You have to decide that yes it’s available for you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And it’s ok if you’re not quite sure what to do next. The first step is making that decision to grow. 🌱

If I were to ask you if you’re living your dream life, what would you say?

First let me tell you that you don’t have the be at the final level of your dream life to be living it now.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Think about the things you wanted to come In to your life 10 years ago. Did you call it in? Are you living that future version of yourself now? I am. This girl right here, she’s part of that “future” dream that is now reality. This family, My businesses, the flexibility that comes with owning your own business, the freedom.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Is there a next level and another level up from that? Yep. But the point is to recognize and feel the gratitude for what you’ve already called into your life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Another thing to note is that your dream can be whatever you want for your life. It doesn’t have to look like mine or your brothers or your best friends. It could include the dream house, living abroad, travelling non-stop, finding the perfect partner, starting your family.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So how do you make sure you’re in alignment with the future version of you who is already living the next few levels up?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-you get clear on the vision
-check in to see what parts of that life you’re already living
-choose a few things your future self has done that you can start doing today to embody that version of you.
-release beliefs that hold you back from leveling up
-create new habits your future self has taken on.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And this is important. Stay focused. It’s so easy to look at someone who lives in say a tropical destination and goes out to parties every night and think “must be nice”. But then when you really think about your future self that’s not even close to being in alignment with your own truth at your core. Instead change your thoughts to, wow good for them and get back to your own goals.

I know you see my face ALOT but it’s usually in reels, sooooo I thought I’d switch things up with. A. Photo. 👀

I know.

Today, I am officially certified as a mindset coach, in EFT, Hypnosis, Neuro Energetic Wiring and Neuro Energetic Encoding.

What a journey the past few months has been. Originally I signed up with to be my own coach. I knew how powerful NLP was and I wanted to learn how to do it. What I got was so much more.

A transformation I never expected, if I’m being fully honest.

I knew I had limiting beliefs but I didn’t know exactly what they were and I didn’t know how many I had. I’m STILL working my way through digging into what the blocks are and removing them one by one.

With each belief or decision I release, new levels of potential form. Things I would have never dreamed possible for “someone like me”.

What does that even mean, right? Nothing. It means nothing. Because you can be anyone that you want to be, and so can I.

Wanna know what it takes? The decision to move forward! The commitment to release what no longer serves you. That alone opens up SO many doors you won’t even believe it was possible. And then when you start to reprogram whatever new behaviours support your future and highest self, the magic happens. You actually start to embody that version of you.

And so I just wanted to say that I’m here doing this work because I’ve experienced how powerful it is for myself. Because I truly believe that when one woman rises, others rise with her. And because my soul has awakened. I know that my purpose is to help bring more feminine energy to the world through energetic frequencies. That means more softness, more flow, creativity, joy, and women standing in their power.

Together we can rise to make our earth and humanity a better place.

One of my favourite nourishing meals is the Fresh vegetable spring roll inspired salad.

Fill a big bowl with baby spinach. Shred red cabbage, carrots into ribbons, julienne(long thing strips) peppers and cucumber. We added finely chopped broccoli too!

Add a protein if you’d like

Add rice noodles to your bowl.

Use a chilli dressing ( a peanut chilli dressing is my fav). I can’t remember what we put in ours but google w give you plenty of options!

Top with plenty of fresh herbs! We used cilantro, chives and green onion.

This recipe is so flexible, use what you have on hand.

Avocado is a great addition too, we just didn’t have any!

My favourite part about what we do is seeing people transform into their highest selves.

One thing I’m so passionate about is making wellness accessible to anyone. Wellness is often considered a luxury. Expensive gym memberships, massages, mental health services, etc. They all have price tags that aren’t always accessible to everyone.
