And just like that another year and another week of middle school volleyball camp is complete. We had a fun group of kids with very supportive parents. We are excited to see this group progress to the next level. Special thanks to Palmyra Parks and Rec for choosing us to run the yearly clinic. A big thank you also goes out to Brie and Kenny Snyder for helping coach and to Tanner Grimes for his assistance all week as well. Cut Shot is very fortunate to have this great group of people helping to coach and teach the next generation of players

The 6th annual Chocolate Town Clash is in the books. Thank you to all the players and families that came out to spend the weekend with us. A big congratulations from Cut Shot Volleyball to Cory Reed for finally getting his first tournament victory (although it’s likely that Joanna Wu carried him most the day). Cory has the record for most 2nd place finishes in Cut Shot history, so it’s nice to see him break through. Also, a special thanks to Ayal Ciobotaru for taking the time to photo bomb this special moment.

For any parents looking for a middle school (grades 5-8) volleyball camp for their kids this summer.

We will be holding our 3rd Annual Summer Camp July 22-25 in Palmyra 5:30-7:30 each night. You can register for the whole week or pick a couple days if that’s easier for you.

Any child registered for the for week by July 15 will also receive a T-Shirt.

Thanks to Palmyra Parks & Recreation for helping to make this summer camp happen every year.

Thank you to all the players, and families that came out to our first MASH BASH triples tournament to help support Mechanicsburg High School Girls Volleyball Program. While the final number is not in yet, we are happy to announce we helped raised at least 1300 dollars for the girls program. Special thanks to Mechanicsburg School District and their boosters for choosing Cut Shot Volleyball to help with this event. Here are your winning teams.

Thanks to all the teams who came out to play in the first annual Go Ask Your Mother tournament. We also want to take a moment to thank Dannielle Barlow, Jay Higginbotham, Cory Reed, Josh Titus, and Chase Mader for helping us clean up and get out before the rain hit our area again.

Well, we think our indoor season is finally over, although Mother Nature may have something to say about that.

We wanted to say thank you for the support you have given us over the last eight months of indoor season. We had 1437 different people come out to play over the course of that time. We had 56 players who achieved player incentive prizes for playing in 10 and 15 tournaments. These numbers are amazing and we cannot express our gratitude enough to the players that made this happen.

We were able to help raise 2300 dollars for the HACC women’s volleyball program and 2500 dollars for the Alvernia women’s volleyball program. Thank you to Thomas Frye, Kristin Sipling, and Ryan Dry for choosing Cut Shot to help with your programs.

We were also able to raise 2500 dollars for Kenbrook Bible Camp, which we hope to use more next season.

Special thanks to Zakk Bowman, Joey Brennen, Rich Dougal, Dylan Zemitis, Kenny Snyder, Bri Snyder, Trever Nachimzon, Amy Rider, Tegan Rider, Justin Swingholm, Becky Conrad, Sabrina Harbaugh, Chris Inch, and Eliana Inch for running events for us. This awesome group of people allows us to do what we do.

Although Cut Shot is not one person, as you can see above, I personally want to take a moment to thank my family for allowing this to happen. I am blessed to have that support group in my life and although they may not always be at the events, they are a huge factor that allows this to continue.

Good luck to everyone in all of your summer tournaments and we look forward to seeing you in the grass.

Mother Nature may have pushed us inside for the weekend, but we still had a great time. Thanks to all the teams who were flexible enough to move indoors. We think this was our last indoor tournament, but we will we see. Congratulations to all of our winning teams.
