Where did it all start....
Growing up with a dad who was infatuated with music and loved nothing more than dragging him around charity shops and car boot sales in search of vinyl, cassette, cds and anything else that represented quality music, has meant Kailub’s own musical influences stretch from Back Sabbath to Billy Idol and all the way to Fela Kuti.
Sharing the same passion for vinyl, Kailub loves digging through, sourcing, talking and most of all playing it. Currently trapped in the world of the black magic, he has collected and manipulated his sound, moving in the way of Afrohouse. When he plays his sets they are full of huge percussion elements and deep meaningful vocals, blended together which hypnotic synths, which are always taking you on a journey.
He also loves adding something from his childhood in his sets, weather its a Pink Floyd Edit or a old Rnb vocal, people can always relate to some signature sounds. Always taking you back to a place in time, which your mind choses never to loose, as the music represents a good time in your life.
