I remember posting about me pitching last year and wanting prayers from everyone.

All the practice all the reciting over and over in my head did not stop me from completely BOMBING lol!!!!!! I was saying everything in the wrong order. I started with my ending and ended with my beginning statement lol. Needless to say I didn't win, even though I got alot of positive feed back.

And I remember leaving thinking, I won't be pitching in anymore pitch competitions. I wasn't upset that I didn't win, I was upset cause I didn't do my best.

So when this year came around, I ignored applying until the last day before the deadline. The reason I applied is because I never want my son to think that quitting is an option. Losing in the journey is ok but quitting isn't optional.

I made this video a year ago, celebrating some of the wins that happened in my company and it’s crazy that even looking at those accomplishments, it’s been many many more that I didn’t even get to talk about.

Fast forward to 2024, this year has hit me like a brick, a lot of ups and downs, super difficult situations and hardships. But in this difficult year I started to look through my hard drives and I realized how much content I have not posted. I’m talking like YEARS of stuff. Things that I was shooting to post but never did. But WHY??????? Maybe because of the many reasons you don’t post a lot of your content. “It’s not good enough, It won’t go viral, Nobody’s watching my content, I’m too fat/Im too skinny, I didn’t get a haircut/Hair done, I don’t speak well”, YAH YAH YAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!! We all can find a reason not to post and not realize that one you don’t post could go viral or it could actually help someone.

In the hardest year of my company there is so much to be thankful for. I have learned more on the business side than I ever have since being in business. Being surrounded buy successful bussiness men and women and their companies like .co has grown me more this year than the previous years.

No Ls just a lot of Learning Lessons. Gratitude is the the most important attribute to have and through seeking the Lord he has shown me the many blessings that are surrounding me like the best wife in the world and my awesome son Bailey.

For any entrepreneur that’s in the grind and having the toughest time. Look back and see all the Lord has done for you, use that to push you forward to the people you’re supposed to help and the mission God has gave you to accomplish for his glory through entrepreneurship.

2024 aint over yet!!!!

One of the benifits of shooting at Live Events, especially ones focused on entrepreneurship, is the knowledge you gain while meeting high achieving people.

I had never heard of the Wallstreet Trapper before the conference but he came and dropped knowledge and he brought so much value.

My banner verse use to be Proverbs 16:3 “Commit Your Works to the Lord and he will establish it” but the Wallstreet Trapper laid Proverbs 10:4 on me, “A slack hand causes poverty but the hand of the diligent makes rich”.

Small Business owners, one lesson that I have learned in 3 years of business (1 part time, 2 full time) Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes!!!!!!

For the past 3 weeks I have been doing the most mentally draining work, I've ever done. Business statements, goal setting, number crunching, filling out grant applications, creating pdfs for professional (warm pitches), applying for certifications (which requires money I don't have). My mind is wore out and I'm over it lol. I would rather be shooting and editing but Nothing will ever change (money, personal growth) if nothing changes.

What an amazing experience with Faith Anderson and Tenth Child Inc. I heard Gene Moore at a concert a while back and I remeber me and precious left talking about him more that the main artist lol. Making an image look beautiful takes skill and I've put in alot of hours and time learning how to do that. I'm just now getting to the point that I rewatch my work lol. I use to be very reserved and critical when it came to my work but sometimes its okay to look back and be proud of what you've done and most importantly give thanks to the lord for bringing you to where you are.

Editing podcast can be TAXING!!!!!
You have to listen for mistakes, and edit them out and make the transitions in conversations smooth and seamless. And thats after the enhancing, clean up, etc. So why not relax while listening.
