Sadly, obviously we are cancelled this Tuesday and for every Tuesday until the governor removes curfew. Much love and appreciation to the Hilltop and all its friends. All I can say is WOW!!! The place was packed last night! The list was the longest it’s ever been and the performances were as eclectic as they’ve ever been. It was a special night last night, as we celebrated the birthdays of Lucille Mazza and Rich Hempel!!! Happy Birthday!!!!!! 🎉🎂🎊
Special thanks to my love Jenn Steckowich for the cake and pie, Gloria and Mike for cupcakes, and Lori Wrobel for sandwiches and other goodies along with her usual awesome service. If I forgot anyone who brought food I apologize. At some point I couldn’t tell what was going on! The music last night was awesome with some newcomers as well as greats like Patrick Bitbol, who by the way will be at the Hilltop this Saturday with his band Patty Lou And The Ingrates. Truly an excellent evening for us all. Thank you all so much for being there! See you next week 🎶🎂😊🍻

What a beautiful night it was!!! Rob DeLorenzo’s Birthday was done in style! Thanks so much for everyone coming down to show your love. Extra extra special thanks to Marie for going above and beyond for Rob, providing a wonderful cake and decorations for the evening. This really brought together a lot of people, to make the night reminiscent of the old days. Friends old and new had a great time, and it was an honor to host a night dedicated to a great guy! Many heartfelt thanks to all who came by last night! It was a wonderful pre-birthday celebration, and I couldn’t be happier! Special thanks to my girlfriend Jenn for providing cannoli cake for all in attendance, as well as Lori Grace, Gloria, and Lucille for bringing goodies, along with Lori Wrobel keeping me well fed and drank last night. Thanks JD, Charlie, Nancy, Dean, Mark, Ken, Dave and everyone else for being there. You all are awesome! See you next week for the last Tuesday Open Mic of 2019!

Hello friends, in an effort to promote original music from our local stock of musicians, I would like to share the work of some of our friends here. There’s people who put a lot of time and effort into creating new music and they should be heard! So with that, I urge you to check out our buddy Harrison Bieth’s new solo effort! He’s been a friend of the Open Mic for years and has a unique style. Harrison has always been one to play his own material but he’s also the only guy I’ve ever heard cover Mr. Bungle, so there’s that! This is a really cool 8 song album, and it’s only been out a few weeks. Give it a listen! You can check him out in person and buy an actual copy of his music or you can download it off various music services. Support local artists! 🎶
