Each year, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we are reminded of the struggles and the importance of fighting this complex disease. Breast cancer profoundly impacts the individual, their loved ones and caregivers. We understand the significance that detection, support and treatment have for those diagnosed with breast cancer.

In April of 2020, we lost our dear friend Katie Watson, after a 4 year battle with HER2+ breast cancer, a rare and aggressive form. She was passionate about collaborative efforts within the scientific community over breast cancer subtypes. I’m personally reminded with a deeper understanding of not just awareness but the much needed funding for research that focuses on metastasis and treatments.

At Sprout + Fête Co., we feel very passionate about bringing attention to broadening our understanding of breast cancer, that’s why we have partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® to support their mission of advancing the world’s most promising research to eradicate breast cancer.

In honor of Katie, I have pledged a minimum of $1,250 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. For October, Sprout + Fête Co. will be donating 10% of the purchase price on all products sold to BCRF. Together, we hope to accelerate scientific progress for the breast cancer community. Our latest additions to the Diaper Cake collection! These cakes are more than just diapers and are packed with goodies and essentials, making them the perfect gift for baby.

The llama cake includes 2 handmade flannel swaddles, 1 handmade cactus rattle, llama stuffed animal from Anthropologie and 45-50 Size 2 diapers.

The Woodland Fox Diaper Cake includes 2 swaddles, 2 beanie Hats, a Jellycat stuffed animal, 45-50 Size 2 diapers, baby suede moccasins (size 0-6) and handmade cutouts Mom can use as scrapbook inserts.
