There is always a mixture of emotions on album release day for artists. One minute thinking ‘’Is anyone gonna bother listening to my new work’’ and then ‘’It’s out in the world now so what will be will be’’ but at the end of the day I am just ridiculously grateful to be doing what I love for a living and for having an incredible band, label, team, wife and kids & of course amazing fans supporting this dream.

I have left myself very vulnerable on this record which in turn has brought a really raw, honest and emotional energy as these songs are my therapy and I am so proud with how this album has turned out.

I promise the next record is upbeat and positive 😂

I want to say thanks to everyone for their support with my upcoming music project. I’m excited to be doing this again and connecting with this important part of me.

‘I Am The Gun’, the debut single from Devils and Icons, will be here soon!

Every Friday until the release date of September 3rd 2024, there will be a new reel uploaded talking about the single, the project, inspiration, motivations and more.

This week, I talk about my former band I.C.O.N. This reel is by no means the complete story, as there as so many incredible people behind the scenes who sacrificed EVERYTHING for this band. But, in 20 years, it changed my outlook on life and allowed me to see and do some incredible things. It’s shaped me, and I talk about that here.

It was fun revisiting this and I do miss the band.

Leading up to the release of my debut single on September 3rd from my new music project Devils and Icons, I have been posting videos weekly to offer insight and build interest.

First up was the short reel around lyric writing and inspiration, and last week was around home studios, doing it yourself and why that was necessary.

This week’s reel is deeply emotional and personal and, I feel, necessary to share. In all honesty, it’s taken 11 years (to the day) to make this clip, even though I have talked about it previously.

This clip is about my dad, his tragic passing, how it reset my life and mindset, and how it inspired this musical project.

It’s honest, painful, and hopefully interesting and inspiring enough to anyone who has either been through this, or is struggling themselves to move forward. Help is out there. You are not alone.

Again, thank you for the interest in my music and the project. It’s exciting, and there’s not long now until the debut single is out.

Next week’s video will be about my old band, and how it got me here. ❤️

In Wales again for holidays this year, and today, I went to Portmeirion in Gwynedd. Famously used as the setting for ‘The Prisoner’ TV series in the 60’s, and of course, the song by Iron Maiden from ‘The Number Of The Beast’ album. Great place! 😀👌❤️

Bang Bang Firecracker throw down the gauntlet with their latest anthem ‘Ain’t Nothin’ Gonna Change’ released today 31st July 2024.

The second single to be released from a Septology of works conceptualised as ‘Seven Deadly Singles’. This latest track takes the listener on a thrill packed audio adventure!

Paying a momentary tribute to Motorhead, Kieron screams the line, “We all forgot The Joker!”.

Earlier this year, the band revealed their third album concept, ‘Seven Deadly Singles’. Comprising of seven brand new songs, they are set to be released throughout 2024 in CD single format.

Bang Bang Firecracker are slamming the door on streaming sites and focussing their energy on producing physical media and merchandise for those dedicated and discerning fans of hard rock and heavy metal.

Since the release of their second album, ‘The Evil Trilogy’, Bang Bang Firecracker have garnered some serious attention. Playing at a frequency of indecency with 27 dates in 2023, the band are now seeing rewards for their efforts as they break into the 2024 festival scene amongst some major players.
