I would’ve made a cake twice the size if it’d fit in the oven. THAT’S how much I love - I was at their first ever meet up when Olive was just a few days old. And the support that Emily and Eleanor and all the other mums have given me over the last year has been so wonderful I can hardly put it into words.. so here it is in cake form!

Nowt better than a curry IMO. Slow cooked short rib masala, saag paneer dhal, pickled chillies and pink onions.

Baby bibimbap 🍱

Our go to when the cupboards are bare and we’ve exhausted every other mince based weeknight dinner. And it’s great for babies/ kids 🤩

- Fry beef mince with sliced onions and peppers until the meat has browned. Add crushed garlic, miso, gochujang paste, sesame seeds, honey and rice wine. Cook on low for 15-20 mins until thick and glossy. Finish with sesame oil.

Serve with crunchy raw carrots and cucumber, veg stir fried in sesame oil and rice.

Persian chicken with pomegranate and walnuts 🌿🌶

I’ve made this again and again for dinner parties as it goes down so well. Works great on the bbq with salad as well as in the oven, served with rice and lentils.

Recipe:
- Pan fry chicken thighs skin side down in oil until skin turns golden.
- Add harissa paste, pomegranate molasses, pomegranate juice, crushed garlic to the pan and reduce for 4-5 mins.
- Pour reduction over the chicken then roast in the oven until cooked through
- Serve with chopped walnuts, chives and pomegranate seeds

BABY FRIENDLY SUSHI 🍣 🍱

Perfect finger food for babies, kids and adults to share. I used mixture of cooked salmon, avo, cucumber, carrot, peppers and sesame but you can use whatever your baby enjoys like tuna, cooked chicken, lettuce and spring onions. no fancy equipment or rolling mat needed, these rustic maki rolls definitely achievable in not too much time at all and will last a couple of days In the fridge.

- Bring sushi rice to boil with 100g rice to 125g water. Simmer 20 mins with lid then leave to cool
- Thinly slice veg and break up fish
- Lay out your nori seaweed and cover with a layer of sticky rice
- Pile with filling then carefully roll from end nearest to you
- Slice into bite size rolls and serve with soy and wasabi for grownups

- Charred aubergines with tahini dressing, pomegranate and nigella seed
- Persian chicken with walnuts and pomegranate molasses
- Fig, goats curd and pumpkin salad with sage
- Chicken salad with Anchoaide
- Roast lamb loin with mint and tabbouleh
