I had the absolute privilege of being the celebrant for Micayla and Blair Jopson in Twizel. The weather threw every season at us on their special day, from rain to hail and snow on the hills. Although it was freezing cold it didn't matter as the warmth from their love for each other made the day extra special.

How wonderful were the Aurora lights tonight. If it wasn't so cold I would have stayed out a lot longer Thanks to Sam White and Lauren Keen for sharing these amazing photos with me. As my husband and I celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary today it reminds me of all the lovely couples I have had the privilege of being the celebrant for their special day. I have been in Twizel this weekend being the celebrant for Micayla and Blair on Friday. I awoke on the day of the wedding to snow on the hills and a chilly day. All kinds of weather was thrown at us, but after a small delay the ceremony took place outside with Lake Benmore behind us. Congratulations to the newly married couple and I look forward to sharing some photos of the day soon.

How happy do these newly weds look? I was privileged to be the celebrant for James and Paris on Saturday. The inside setting at Glenfalloch was still stunning and intimate and the rain didn't dampen the celebration. Yesterday morning I enjoyed my morning walk starting with a beautiful sunrise and finished it with a lovely rainbow (sorry the photo doesn't show how nice the rainbow was). In the afternoon I had the privilege of being the celebrant for James and Paris and their wedding at Glenfalloch in Dunedin. Although the weather wasn't on their side and the ceremony was held inside, it was still a beautiful wedding to be a part of. Congratulations James and Paris.

How cute is this wee flowergirl?
Holly and Ray Joyce asked me to be their celebrant for their garden wedding in Waikouaiti in December. Their gorgeous daughter Billie arrived in style in a white BMW, she definitely stole the show. It was a real privilege to be a part of this special day.
