This job is NOT easy. Sometimes it’s not fun. Sometimes it’s extremely stressful, and not just from one event but the six large weddings you have coming up within a four week span. Sometimes your clients can be really mean to you. Sometimes things don’t go quite as planned and you have to hurry up and fix it, so that your clients don’t notice. Sometimes you mess up and your clients do notice, and you have to get through it. Sometimes vendors aren’t cooperating, or cooperative at all. & so on...
But all of the time, I am glad I went down this path. No matter what, each event brings me so much joy and satisfaction. Seeing the reaction on all of your clients’ faces’ during their big day, enjoying the special moments with them, & seeing the end results makes everything so worth it.
More than anything, my favorite part is the rewarding friendships I get to develop over the time I spend talking to & being with my clients. I will talk to my clients at 7 AM or I will talk to them at 11 PM. I am their therapist, their wedding bestie, and their consultant all in one. They confide in me, support me, and appreciate me. Yes the money is great, but I don’t just do this for the money and that’s one of the many reasons why I stand out. I actually care. Each event is so special to me in its own way, and I can only thank them for that. I treat each one as if it’s my own. They’re all so unique in their own way, but perfect at the same time.
My days are packed between everything I do. Scheduling, multitasking, and communication are skills I have mastered. I hardly have any free time. If I do, I’m probably thinking about what’s next. I will never regret it. It makes me happy, & at the end of the day that’s all that really matters.
If you could do everything I do without sacrificing your happiness, physical health, or mental health ~ wouldn’t you do the same? ✨
