My Journey

My dream is to be Djing on a main stage at a massive festival, but it’s not going to happen over night a lot of hard work and grafting has to be done before all this comes. I have always been interested in the music side of things like how is the Dj moving from another track with no pausing? How was this song created? How did it go to number 1 in the UK charts so quick?

Lets start at the beginning i started Djing when i was in my teens with a app on my phone the minute i got on the app i could be on it for hours on end. I never did anything back then because i was no where near what i am today. Years pass I’m still on this app looking at Dj controllers but they are not cheap my £5 week pocket money is not going to buy me some £250 standard controller, i kept going on the app brought the add on’s learnt more and more.

2019 comes still going on this app but this time I’m in a better financial state that i can get a controller, there was nothing in the world that could express how excited i was to order it, it’s the same controller i use today Pioneer DDJ SB3.

I started making mixes and uploading them onto Soundcloud doing a few little live streams on my personal Facebook account people were enjoying it and other Dj’s were giving me advice and I’m still learning. I make my first Dj page Dj Rumbold started using that more then things died off.... but i didn’t give up and thats what brings me to this page today i deleted my last page created this one using the same name Dj Rumbold at this point I’m still doing little live streams here and there and uploading to Soundcloud.
