We proudly present The Wedding of Kristin and Seth, a spoof of NBC’s , their favorite show. We were so excited when Kristin and Seth came to us with this unconventional idea for their wedding video, and we loved making it happen for them, as a work of fan art as well as a document of their sweet wedding day. Kristin’s sister Cameron took on the Michael Scott role, and Seth’s best man Alex became our Dwight Schrute, along with the improvisations and talking heads of many of their friends and family. It was a challenge to try to form a narrative and come up with bits all on the day of, but I am proud of how it came out after working out the comedic timing in post.

She is very eager to learn but definitely lied on her résumé about her level of experience. Apparently nine months of “inside knowledge” about the wedding photo and video industry means something different to a 3-day old.

Super excited to announce that today is (probably) the day we will meet our new baby Nightjar (will follow up if this goes into overtime). 2021 was a wild year full of tons of weddings, trying to get our basement finished to make space for the baby’s room upstairs, Brad running around doing hundreds of little tasks, Jenna becoming Professionally Pregnant (I found some other wonderful second shooters to fill in for her, but she has legit learned everything possible about pregnancy and has done a wonderful job taking care of herself and baby,) in addition to patiently waiting and waiting and waiting… and now our child is finally going to be joining us in just a matter of hours.
This is all to say, if you’re one of the four clients who have yet to receive your edited videos, rest assured they are still underway(still currently on schedule!) but we will let you know if you should expect any delays, and we ask your patience and understanding.
