Church of SLTs’ 7 Deadly Sins Mass was another success.

Thank you to everyone who made it for supporting the vision of a shame-resilient, body and seggs positive paradigm.

I’ll be posting pictures about the event so those who made it can reminisce and those who didn’t make sure you don’t get FOMO and book a ticket newt time.

At C.O.S., we welcome anyone who shares our values. What your s*x, gender, orientation, s*x life look like, how you dress and what you do with your body is none of our business. All we’re interested in is that you too value:

Have you ever been called a SLT? Or maybe called someone else one out of judgement for how they dressed, danced, spoke, number of people they had s|_|x with...?

I've experienced both. I’ve been called a SLT more times than I can count, and for a long time, it filled me with shame, making me feel like I had to hide who I was just to fit in. This shifted when I met people who embraced their themselves fully and were unfazed by such labels. Being around humans who fully owned their unique expression of life, lifestyles and s€xu@lity was liberating.It marked the beginning of a long journey of freeing myself from shame.

2 of my favourite quotes from the book 'Witches, SLTs, Feminists: Conjuring the S€x Positive" from Kristen J. Sollee are:

"You can't take words out of the mouths of oppressors but you can subvert the intended meaning of their words".

"Perverting and reclaiming language can challenge these very systems of oppression."

This summarises what the Church of SLTs is about. We honour a lineage of power that has been misunderstood and suppressed for centuries. As a community, we resist the forces that oppress those who make choices different from our own. We believe in sovereignty, respect for ourselves and others, and the values of love and kindness. We also embrace that these values are expressed uniquely by each individual, and we respect and celebrate that diversity of expression.

Mass is a celebration of embracing our authentic selves, breaking taboos, and reconnecting with the power of our er0s. Through art, performance, and ritual, we’re rewriting the narrative and embracing what it means to live boldly in our bodies and express life as it courses through us.

Let’s reclaim language and parts of ourselves together at Mass on November 23rd, 6pm - 12pm

📣 Special Announcement 📣 Wild Moon Australia is evolving. I created Wild Moon Australia 3 years ago with the intention of it being my platform to support my work for people with wombs as well as menstruation education 🩸 While I’ll continue to weave this important work into my practice at @anahata_healing_australia, Wild Moon is now expanding to encompass even more of my passions. Wild Moon is now the platform for my shame-resilience and seggs-positive work as well as my performance persona, Wild Velvet. Wild Moon’s mission statement is to create events that challenge the current paradigm. And Wild Velvet is the embodiment of my activism through art, using performance as a powerful tool for change. Church of SLTs’ (C.O.S) is one of the events that embodies this work. The first edition was shaped around performances showcasing a diversity of expressions of Er0s that isn’t shackled by shame and inhibitions. The first edition of C.O.S was a success and sold out event and the next one is coming up soon. Excitingly, Wild Moon will also bring you more transformative events in early 2025so watch this space. But that’s just the beginning. I’m absolutely in love with this work, and I’m frothing with excitement for what’s cooking behind the scenes. Wild Moon will also bring you more transformative events in early 2025, so keep your eyes peeled! 🖤🩷💋
