Who it all begins with…

Sheena… We are blessed (or just lucky) to say we have worked for, with, and alongside some of the best in various fields, and in you, we are in the great company of another. From your extensive skill set, your exceptional professionalism, and your ebullient demeanor, one would be hard-pressed to find any company or corporation that would not benefit from what you bring to the table. Which makes what you do, where you do it, and whom you do it for all the more admirable. At Farley Rose, we work only on projects and with the people that inspire us. You, Sheena Miller, tucked away in this northern town, have done just that. You truly are second to none and an absolute treasure to this community, and if you have not already heard it a million times since Saturday… Thank You for ALL that you do.

There is no group of people we adore more than those who volunteer their time. They give of their precious hours and kind hearts and most often are tasked with small jobs that, due to the attention of our detail, turn grandiose. Lauren & Kim… What you do, how exceptionally well you do it, and, most importantly, who you are hold the deepest of gratitude within our hearts. Thank You.

At Farley Rose, we believe not only the venue matters greatly but also the energy that venue carries. The "light" arrives in the days leading up to the lights that will shine on the night, and in this case those two lights were Nika and Shelly at the Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre. With drop-ins for “just need a quick measurement” and “can we see how this works?”, these two brought us kindness, joy, and laughter. Thank You both for the extra shine.

In addition, Thank You to all those that we shared space with at this event. Charrine and Todd (), for welcoming us out to Witset with an open door and an open heart. Who you are, your creativity, and your stories shared have touched our soul. Thomas Camus (), your talent stands as tall as you are, and like you, it lights up the room. Our Dream Team at Bulkley Valley Printing, your perfectionism and attention to detail (not to mention time crunches) match our own, and that is why we take you wherever we go. Tom from Chickadee Garden Centre, your kindness and generosity added the extra sparkle to the evening—looking forward to those beautiful large trees getting their summer leaves. We always say that bonds are not built in the setup of an event but rather in the takedown. Brandi (Riverside Kitchen Co.), after your department was packed up, you remained in the trenches to make the long night shorter for everyone. We got a chance to see your wonderful personality that we had heard so much about, and it only pales slightly to your incredible salad we ate on the way out the door. To the team of Kimberly (.detailedevents), it was a pleasure watching your cheerful spirits and creative drinks float around the room, and without Steve, no one would have shone as bright—literally.

Lonny… Throughout the list of gratitude and appreciation, we did not know where to place you, and the reason for that is simple… You are everywhere. Prep, set up, take down, and everything in between… you can be counted on for a helping hand, a kind heart, and a good laugh. On behalf of all who know you, thank you, Lonny, for all that you do.

And last but not least, Thank You to all the wonderful people that make up this amazing little mountain town. With each special event, we are getting to meet more and more of you, and with each special event, it is clear to see the true meaning behind “The Spirit of the North.”
