Today’s the most cold and windy day so far since we started this food trailer in Amaroo. It’s freezing and I kept drinking tea and soup to warm up for the whole day. Hope everyone keeping warm and healthy for this tough winter!

We have made Shandong Chicken and Lu Rou Fan as regular on the menu as customers requested.

And good news for Charcoal BBQ!!! Finally we are planning to do our BBQ!!! It will be on the first weekend of August. So August 3rd and 4th, we are closed for the usual menu and only do BBQ. Menu will be released ahead, and you can also comment what’s your favourite skewer!

Today’s story——Regret.

Customers are talking about the Forage happening in Acton today, which is a big outdoor event from 12-7. One of the regular customer asked me if I was regretting to change the business from skewers to bowls.

This customer was aware that we made money on the EVENT like this. The best one happened in Chinese New Year Celebration in Dickson. We took $10,000 another from 10am-10pm trading. But this only happens once a year. Actually two of us worked from 6am to 2am on the special day and need to prepare skewers for another week ahead. On most of the events, we can just cover our meat and stall fee. We Chinese never share any bad times😭😭😭

Business is never easy to grow when we have nothing but passion. I don’t know if this is a right decision, but I will try to make it right.

The answer is we do NOT regret for the decision.

💕Weekly special goes really well on day one.
💕This is what our Chinese customer requested. Lu Rou Fan is rice with slow-cook pork belly and mushroom. The taste is light and the belly is soft. The other weekly special is a typical Chinese soup for winter, which we call Guan D**g Zhu.
