The Old Bakery Beer Company will host their Harvest Market on Saturday, November 22nd from 11:30am-3:30pm! Thanksgiving themed market featuring home goods (candles, cutting boards, trivets, pottery) and value-added food products (baked goods, honey, herbs, spice mixed, granola, and tea). Pick up something local for your holiday table or find the perfect hostess gift! Their Holiday Cheers Markets will be Saturdays on November 29th and December 6th, 13th, & 20th from 11:30am-3:30pm. Featuring a rotating assortment of local artisans featuring perfect locally made holiday gifts - herbal tea, candles, crochet, photography, illustrations, pottery, books, t-shirts, fruit cake, jewelry, 3D printing, woodworking, and more!

We heard a rumor that after tonight is over, the holiday shopping season officially begins and we have just the ticket to make it easy. Mark your calendars for the November installment of First Fridays Art+Shopping Experience next Friday! This late night art and shopping experience spans 20 locations across the Downtown district. Participants are offering a variety of discounts, refreshments and giveaways. A free shuttle will be provided from 5-8pm, running a continuous loop between all locations. Pick up your passport at any participating business to guide your journey.

Every time you make a purchase you’ll have your passport stamped for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to any participating business, and the first shopper to find our “Where’s Wadlow” statue inside one of the shops will also win a $100 gift certificate! Find a list of what each shop & gallery will be offering on November 7th at www.DowntownAlton.com/Events and then make sure you clear your schedule for our last First Friday of 2025 on December 5th.
