From the man himself!
Hey everyone. So I want to address the NYE ticket on sale real quick.
I hate to see scalpers selling tickets to a PL show for ridiculous
prices more than anyone. My team does their best to prevent that kind
of thing from happening, but unfortunately it's nearly impossible to
completely prevent. I want everyone to know that we are doing a
ticket sweep where we analyze the IP addresses of the computers where
the tickets were purchased from and look for any similar IP addresses
or the same credit card being used at different IP addresses. I'm not
completely sure how it works, but I'm told that they have a system
that can find and identify ticket orders from individuals that intend
to scalp. The scalpers are so confident in their methods, however,
that they post the tickets for sale before they've even received them,
and even before the tickets have gone on sale. The information that I
have now is that out of the nearly 7000 tickets that went on sale for
NYE today, just a couple hundred appear to have possibly been
purchased by scalpers.. and I can assure you that we will cancel such
orders and figure out a way to make those tickets available to people
who actually want to go to the show and have a great time.
I am so excited about throwing NYE concert in Colorado and I aim to
make it the biggest and dopest PL New Years Eve party ever!!
