Good Evening Everyone! Good to finally say a few words. As everyone knows, Memorial Day is only three days away. Lets take a look at what this day means to people. Some look at it as a day to have off work. Most like a day from work. I always have myself. It's a day to let us know Summer is just around the corner. And most importantly, it is a day to memorialize the death of all solderers who gave their lives in battle so we could be a free Nation under the beautiful red, white, and blue flag. I hope you all take the time to give thanks to these men and women for their sacrifice of their lives, so we could live free, for all the days. Honor them all. And if, while you are at it, you could thank every serviceman you see. I know they would appreciate your acknowledgment of their service to us and their country. Happy Mother's Day to all! Great day to celebrate life! After all, it was your mother who decided to give you life! And what better way to thank her than to have a day of celebration for her. This is the one who went through labor to give you life. A chance to share a love so profound, no one can come between you. When I had my child, I felt like I was blessed with the most wonderful being! This little ball of flesh, was a biological part of me! I thought how extraordinary this was, LIFE! I felt my purpose in life had been fulfilled. It was even better when my granddaughter was born. I felt the circle of life was
complete! So if your Mom is still with you, loving, caring and supporting you, please take the time time to be with her today. Her day, for all the days she has neutered you, cared for you and loved you no matter what. Although there are some who may not feel this way about their Moms, you should at least give her a Thank You for bringing life to you. Without this, you would not be here today. If nothing else, say thank you.

Happy Earth Day!! Hello everyone, this is Martha here at AllMagicalThingsAvailable.com. Today we celebrate our home, our Mother Earth!! We celebrate the fact she has taken care of our needs letting us use her abundant resources. The only thing is, we take advantage of Mother Earth like some spoiled children will do with their mothers. We use her resources without thinking about what we use or what we may be damaging along the way. In reality, we could deplete what she gives us to survive during our lifetimes. This is why this day was created to bring our usage of her resources to our attention. There have been many actions by people who want a cleaner Earth for us. Some are helping by becoming conscious of their daily habits. Such as watching how much they have wasted resources in the past. Hoping to learn new habits that will help save their Mother Earth from our destruction.
On the flip side of this coin, I believe our Mother Earth will not let us destroy her. I believe she has already started striking back. She does this through Ice Cap melting, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. Anything she has at her disposal, she will eventually use. She will refuse to let us destroy her! Can anyone blame her??? I certainly can understand all things will fight back if brought to the brink of distinction.
So much for doom and gloom. People are starting to pay attention. There are a lot of people who want to help, and have. There have been many programs created to clean up the oceans and lands. Great effort is being made today to keep our awareness in the forefront of this problem sine 1970, when Earth Day was created. Lets keep moving forward so we will continue to be served by Mother Earth's resources. Start recycling all plastics so they do not have to pack our landfills full of it. Take time to let Mother Earth know you care and will help to return the favor and return the love she has for us.

Happy April Fools Day!!! As I woke up to some April showers this morning, I decided this would be a good day to post something. Welcome back everyone! It's been a minute. Let's talk about April Fools Day. No one seems to have any good explanations as to how this hoax of a day started. Someone must have jumped out from behind a door and scared someone when they came by. They must have then screamed April Fool's day!!! For the lack of being killed for scaring the dickens out of someone!! Could you just imagine how that person must have reacted!! I know how I would have reacted and it would not have been a pretty picture! I have never liked practical jokers. Seems to me this day would be for people to take advantage of others through jokes or trickery. Not funny when you are the one being targeted! Although if you are into this kind of thing, it would open a door for you to take advantage of your attacker as well. Tit for Tat is what I always say. Treat me like you want me to treat you. Right? Personally I do not like Jesters or Clowns. They give me the creeps. I always feel they have hidden agendas. Although I do like the beautiful Jester masks in this shared photo. St. Patrick's Day. It will be at our doorsteps on the 17th day of this month. This day was made a festival by the Irish in commemoration of the life St. Patrick lived in Ireland. St. Patrick was a victim of slavery. In the 14th century, lived a boy of sixteen who was abducted by the English and sold into slavery to the Irish. He eventually managed to flee his enslavement in Ireland. He returned years later to teach the Irish about Christianity. He established several schools, as well as churches. He was known for teaching the Holy Trinity by using a three leaf clover. It was also believed that he got rid of all the snakes in Ireland. The Irish came to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on March 17th, the day he died, as religious services and feasts. It wasn't until the Irish immigrated to the United States, that they made it more of a celebration of all things Irish. So lets start celebrating the Irish traditions of dyed green beers, wearing the color green and eating Corned Beef and Cabbage. Sounds like a good time to us here at AllMagicalThingsAvailable.com. In honor of President's Day! Former President Jimmy Carter is on my mind this morning. He is not well and may ascend Home at any time today. Let's come together and pray this is an easy process for him. I voted for him during his political career. Really only because he was from my state. I was very young at the time. Although, I may not have agreed totally with his policies, I can say I think he was one of the most compassionate, most humanitarian people I have had the privilege to view in my lifetime. Good morning everyone! Welcome to AllMagicalThingsAvailable.com. Just a quick reminder that President's Day is coming fast on Monday 20, 2023! This is a Federal Holiday that was established in 1879. Although it was established in 1879, citizens were celebrating George Washington's birthday long before. They wanted to celebrate his life for being in charge of the Colonial Army during the American Revolutionary War, then our first President. The people loved him so much, they asked him to run for a third term as President. He knew if he did, it would go against the rules of the Constitution and could be headed for another dictatorship. He fought so hard for freedom, he was not going to let that happen and turned down the opportunity to run again. Since Abraham Lincoln's birthday was born on February 12th, some states decided to name their holiday for both George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Which honored Lincoln for leading our nation through the Civil War, preserved the Union and abolished slavery. Some states legislated the holiday as President's Day so all the Presidents could get recognition. I think they deserve a special day of recognition for all their work trying to run this countries government. Good mornings friends. This is a native azalea I grew. Some call them honeysuckle bush because they have such a terrific aroma. Oh, I live in the woods and Love it! Hard to have gardens when there is so much shade from the many trees. Have to grow shade friendly which incorporates native habitat plants. Just wanted to share some Love for Valentine's Day!
